Le Sunrise Condominium Resort est situé à côté de la plage et de surf principale rupture dans la ville, il est littéralement un 60 secondes à pied de la porte de patio pour le sable sur la plage. Restaurants et commerces sont également situés à côté du complexe et vous ne avez pas besoin de marcher un mile comme dans Langosta. Nous sommes situés à 300 pieds au nord de l'Hôtel Diria et nous sommes littéralement dans le centre de la ville.

This property is located right in the middle of downtown. Close to the beach, shopping and restaurants. Everyday we headed out to a different beach and ended the day in the pool. The kids loved it! The condo is right off the pool but far enough away that your not disturbed by pool noise, perfect.
The condo itself was very spacious and comfortable for a party of 8, but it is in desperate need of repair and maintenance thou. Almost every single appliance (washer, dryer, dishwasher, Air conditioner, refrigerator, blender, toaster, toilet, beach chairs, deck chairs, kitchen stools, Tv's, knives) were broken or about to break. We spent our first dinner in the condo with a repair man on the floor in the kitchen attempting to fix the washing machine. He was unsuccessful. The last day we were there even the pool waterfall was out of order. These were small nuisance items that didn't ruin our experience but definitely were annoying since we thought we were splurging on our final location in country. One serious issue with the condo thou is the exterior sliding door is installed inside out. Which means you can't lock or block it. Instead of correcting the install, there is a pin that was rigged onto the door to try and fasten it but the slightest vibration makes it fall out leaving the condo completely unsecure. Which happened almost daily! Little unerving with thousands of dollars

The home was well appointed with everything you need to enjoy cooking and time on the beach. The beach chairs and coolers were great to have. The beach is just across the street and everything you need is a short walk. 5 out of 5. Only note, the WiFi does not work in the bedrooms.

We had two families with total of 4 adults and kids ages 14, 11, and 11.
Sunrise Condos and this unit in particular were perfect to be able to stay together, not be crowded, and access anything in Tamarindo very easily. Once we parked, we never needed to use the car as everything is in walking distance.
Check in process was super simple although it's confusing as to why you have to go to Marlin del Rey to get a key when you just use a code to access to the unit. Also, the parking guard was confused when our friends showed up later and needed a place to park.
Condo unit was well stocked with basic necessities. Accommodations are ~3.5 stars (definitely nice but not super high end). We only made breakfasts at the condo as there are sooo many good restaurant options in town. The chairs for the beach were great. Things that could help improve stay are:
- Laundry soap - we left some after buying at the grocery store; I hope it's there for the next people
- Nicer bedding -- sheets are a bit thin, limited blankets
- Beach umbrella or tent -- it is HOT at the beach and you need some shade
- Real beach towels to bring to the beach vs. using the bathroom towels
- Some basic cooking items like salt, pepper, cooking spray
All of this stuff is available at nearby shops but relatively expensive to buy when you're only there such a short time.
Finally, there is a BluRay player and a great selection of DVDs but none of them worked -- said it was the wrong country code.

The inside was nice and accommodating. It would have been nice to have a safe to store our passports while at the beach. This is being rated as a 1 start due to the noise level of the complex. Drunks every evening until early hours of the morning, disco nearby so you are lying in bed to the beat of the music. And due to the lovely balconies, early morning coffee drinkers recalling their days for all in the complex to hear. If you want some sleep, this is not the place to be.

Plenty of room for 6 adults (3 couples) & 2 teens to stay. Located across from beach access & walking distance to grocery, coffee, dining & nightlife. We had a rental car, but did not need it at all during our stay.

The living area and bedrooms were roomy and comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped although we only made coffee and breakfast. There are sooo many great restaurants in Tamarindo. The pool is nice and big. The ocean is right across the street and the beach is perfect. Soft sand and the swimming is perfect for families and surfing. We would definitely stay here again!

We rented this condo just off the Main Street in Tamarindo for 5 days in mid April for our son’s wedding weekend. Staff was friendly and helpful-fixing one issue for us immediately. The condo grounds are secure-comings and goings are monitored 24/7 by security (although we never felt unsafe anywhere in Tamarindo-this gave you comfort that unnecessary foot traffic was kept out of the condo area). The pool was great to have to cool off in the evenings. A few howler monkeys used area trees for their home from time to time. Beach is literally across the road. Many restaurants and shops are walking distance. The condo unit is well equipped with dishes, pots/pans and kitchen utensils for making breakfasts. Would definitely consider coming back!

The condo was clean, convenient and perfect for our group of six. We enjoyed the patio overlooking the pool. We were appreciative that there were three bathrooms, one for each couple. Beds were comfortable, living area had lots of seating and the beach chairs were a nice addition when going to the beach. Although the condo was right off the main road it was very quiet . The location is an easy walk to beach, restaurants and shops. A small grocery store is in the strip mall out front. We enjoyed breakfast at cafe Santa Maria which is right on main drive into condo.

We had a wonderful time in this condo, well stocked and lots of space. Location is close to everything so you don’t need to rent a car, short walk to shopping and restaurants, tours will pick you up out front, beach across the street. Pool is perfect with a sunny side and shady side and plenty of room. Overall a great place to stay. Bring bug spray for tiny knats though.

We took A shuttle from the airport. When we arrived we were very thrilled at the location and how easy it was to walk to everything we needed. Very convenient to shop the main street and walk to the beach. Condo even provided nice beach chairs. I would highly recommend It’s rental!!

The location was amazing! Once we parked the car, we didn't drive again. Great pool, great condo! The management staff was very responsive to questions. The condo is well furnished and equipped - had everything we needed for our family of 8 to enjoy the condo, pool, and beach. The location is great - walkable to grocery stores and wonderful restaurants! The beautiful pool is right outside the door, and the gorgeous beach is just across the street. The only issue we had was very spotty and inconsistent wi-fi internet service, but it was kind of nice to “disconnect” for a bit!

Condo was right in the middle of the action. Easy walk to the beach and restaurants.
Condo is dated and could be updated a bit but was worth the cost. No cover for the sitting area so when rained couldn’t sit outside.
Pool was nice and not busy.
Property manager was attentive. We lost a key and they changed the lock quickly for us with no charge.

Winter Break Vacation
The property was perfect for our group. We had four adults, a teenager and three kids under twelve. The condo was perfect for our group. We were quite comfortable in the space. The kids loved the pool and access to the beach was very convenient. Zack was very accommodating and worked with us. I highly recommend this property.

Fantastic condo and location
We absolutely love this location. It’s in the middle of town and you can walk to everything. We’ve stayed in a few units in this complex and this one was amazing. It was a great layout, super clean and has all the amenities that you could need. The beds were also really comfortable. It’s close to the pool so I spent a fair amount of time reading by the pool and still felt like I could keep up with what was going on in the condo. We ended up having a family emergency and had to leave early. The owner was so gracious and went out of his way to accommodate us. We will definitely be back to this unit.

Terrific time in tamarindo
We had a wonderful time staying in Zach's place. The location, across the street from the beach and right in the middle of the action in town, could not have been better. The condo is amazing, beautifully decorated and equipped with everything you could possibly need. Zach is a wonderful host and we're hoping to go back this winter.

Loved this rental - we’ve used Vrbo in many countries and this was a great experience. Great instructions to manage expectations of location and setup. We had an issue with one of the five AC units and it was addressed the next day. Pics online don’t do the property justice - for Costa Rica this is a beautifully maintained property. Would recommend to any and all, but perfect for families.

Zach is an above average human being!
I will certainly review the property once we have the privilege of travel restored. My family of 7 was to stay but had to cancel last minute due to the corona virus. I simply alerted Zach of this in order to give him the opportunity to book it with somebody else (we did not know how travel would be affected at that point). My husband and I are both health care workers (he's an MD, I am a self employed RN) and we couldn't leave our jobs. I did not expect a refund and did not ask for one. Zach was very quick to request a refund on my behalf from VRBO and inform me of same. I had the FULL refund, including downpayment back on my credit card within 2 days. I am confident in saying that I will be booking his property in the future. Half the battle of enjoying travel is good customer service, and this is an example of stellar public relations. He took a big financial hit with this. We have never met...he did this for a stranger. I am humbled and so grateful. I sincerely believe that good comes back to good and will look forward to doing my part to support Zach in the future. So nice to meet a good and generous human being. Marcie Bak.
