Host's very accommodating, good communication, Nice location with Garden and pool, parking included. Room cleaned daily with fresh towels if needed. Overall doing a great job.

When the B&B is full you can hear most things in the hallway. Doors could do with better soundproofing.

I had to travel to Italy( Taranto) due to unforseen circumstances - my Mother took ill on a cruise ship and ended up in hospital. I had to book the next flight out and book accommodation not too far from the hospital - this was all organised in about 2 hours; therfore, I did not have time to research about the area Thank god I booked B&B Maxxi - the owner was so friendly and very helpful, she went out of her way to make sure my stay was comfortable as possible given the situation. She even rang the hospital for me to translate due to the language barrier - honestly she could not have done anymore to help. This is something I will never forget and will always be grateful for. The accommodation was spotless and it had a lovely swimming pool at the back - which was very peaceful, it's a nice spot to relax and reflect. The cafe/ restaurant next door served lovely food, including the breakfast which is included. The staff where all so friendly and although they spoke very little English they tried their best to communicate- they were all so friendly and helpful. The Accommodation is situated about 20 mins from Taranto Centre on the bus - the bus is very regular and stops jusg outside the B&B - Bus Number 8. If I have to go back to Taranto again, I will definitely be booking this place again.

Nice swimming pool with sun beds, all very clean. Staff is beyond helpful and very easy to reach by whatsapp. Possibility to book a massage at the same location (for a fee). Parking included

Breakfast could have been improved (croissant and coffee at place nearby).

The women was lovely going out of her way to make our stay fantastic, giving us a lift into town and letting us stay in the room for longer!!!!!

Was a shame about the pool.

Unfortunately not what we expected for the price we booked it for (€108). Due to covid the AC wasn’t working and the so called breakfast was a coffee at the gas station a 100 mt away. Far away from the city center and on a noisy road. The staff was friendly and offered us a discount of €10 for the inconvenience of the AC, but all and all this room was not worth even half the money.

Room was spacious, clean, decent quality and and we slept well

The pool advertised was not for the sole use of the property - it is open to the paying public with a bar. If you have youngish kids it's probably ok, but if you're expecting a quiet relax by the pool - forget it. Location was a bit out on limb. Breakfast at the bar / cafe next door - a croissant and a single coffee (after which you're paying extra), served by grumpy staff. Kitchen area in the studio very poorly equipped. On balance overpriced and we felt misled about the pool.
