House was clean and as listed. Road getting to the cabin can be a little precarious at night for a visitor unfamiliar with the area. Check in was easy enough. Tons of wildlife around. The location was great and our family of 5 had plenty of room. We would absolutely stay here again.

This house was an amazing find! It was literally the last house at the top of the mountain in Sugar, spectacular view! We could still walk to the shuttle stop so getting to and from the resort was not a problem. We enjoyed a fire after our day skiing and there plenty of room for relaxing for the 6 of us. The kitchen was the most well stocked equipment wise in any rental we have stayed in. We will definitely stay here again when we ski Sugar!

We had a wonderful time at this house. The house was comfortable, and clean and had a very well stocked kitchen with modern appliances. The view from the large deck was gorgeous. Thank you for a relaxing weekend.

Great home for a ski vacation at Sugar Mt. We enjoyed the home however the steep drive way to the house is difficult even with 4wd when it snowed.

We enjoyed staying at this property. Be prepared for some winding steep roads, but we became accustomed to the drive right away. We are from FL so if we can, you can maneuver the drive too! Totally worth it. House is central to many areas. Very well appointed. It has everything you need. Communication was also great with questions ahead of time. The view is amazing.

This property was the best thus far. It’s semi private, clean, beautiful view, and the owners are detail oriented, and incredible. Thanks for an awesome weekend!

Home was beautiful and clean. Home well stocked. We enjoyed our trip to sugar mountain. We had 10 in of snow one morning and a 4WD vehicle is a must to get out of this driveway (if traveling in winter beware). The owners have supplies in the home to aid with snow/ice. The Roads on the mountain leading to the home were well taken care of and passable. We loved the area and enjoyed our stay at this home.

My two sisters and myself thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The view was fantastic and the area was quiet and secluded, even though we were in a neighborhood. We spent all of our time on the porch overlooking the mountains.

We loved staying here. The views from the deck and master bedroom are gorgeous, and the home had everything we needed (laundry, some board games, plenty of dishes). The road to get there is very windy but that is to be expected for the great mountain views. Owner is very responsive. Great stay!

We enjoyed most of our time in the house. Even though we had to leave 1 day earlier because the owner decided to cancel out stay alleging we had more Than 6 people in our group. Totally unfair. We arrived on Dec 30th ( our stay was for 6 nights, until January the 5th) everything was beautiful , excellent house , good location ( kind of tricky to get there ), we were a family with kids that often use these type of facilities. Suddenly on January 3rd we got a call from VRBO saying that owner stated our group was bigger that 6 people and that we needed to pay extra money. There were cámaras outside the house and I guest the owner was recording ( without letting us know in any way ) alleging we parked more that one car. We had more family staying in other cabin 3 minutes away I even gave the address and contact number to VRBO so they could verify the info , and as a family we got together at night, not meaning they were sleeping in our place. We also had family staying at “The Highlands at Sugar by Capital Vacations” That is 2 minutes away , Also provided them with reservation proof just In case, but VRBO sent us an email saying the owner insisted in charge an extra amount , that we needed to pay or leave the place. I’m in the short term rental industry, and found this extremely unpleasant and unnecessary, be treated that way when we were just having a nice vacation time gathered in family , no music at all, no party , nothing , just being there enjoying the place and family. We were supposed to depart on the 5th but we left a day earlier because of the situation and also owner canceled our reservation, very very rude, however we left the house in excellent condition exactly how we got it at first ; and I took A video just in case. I’m sad about how everything ended. We had to rent a hotel to stay our last night :(

Very nice cabin and super clean! They have everything that you could possibly need. The deck is great but the weekend turned out colder than expected, so we didn’t get to enjoy it as much as we would’ve liked. Very pretty view!

We had a great time at Sugar Mountain. The listing was just as advertised and very clean. All the amenities of home in this cozy getaway. The host was wonderful and very easy to reach if the need arises.

Our family of five were well accommodated in this house, which was just the right size. The kitchen is very well appointed with near new appliances and was well stocked with utensils and crockery. The fireplace provided a very cozy atmosphere in the lounge area and the best part was the amazing deck with its incredible view towards Beech Mountain. We also loved the privacy and quiet being positioned at a dead end nestled against the mountain. This place is wonderful; I’m sure we will come again.
