The area. I couldn;t walk outside either during the day or at night, less at night.It was hard to get an UBER.

The pool was really nice and the staff was amazing. Especially the boy working on luggage and pool.

The location is awful, very bad street with nothing opened. The room was very, very simple. No toiletries were offered. The choices for breakfast were very poor.

Clean and modern (ish) place to stay during carnival. The location is far from the start of the parade and is in a dodgy area, but it’s ok with taxis (you won’t be able to get an Uber if it’s during carnival). They must’ve released a lot of rooms close to carnival, as many backpackers were there and had all got the rooms within the last week - when nothing else was left. hotel gave us the WhatsApp of someone to buy carnival tickets off and that worked well. Overall would never stay here apart from carnival, but it worked well for our needs!

We stayed for the carnival period, so the hotel was busy, but never felt overcrowded. It is nice and comfortable, as expected, but the best was the staff. Everyone was lovely, very helpful and always smiling.

The location isn't great. We did walk almost everywhere, but I don't think it's a very safe (or pretty) area. Also booking a taxi from the hotel without help of the reception staff was virtually impossible, but all the taxis they booked for us were overcharging us by a lot, so be mindful of that.

The hotel is located at central Barranquilla, the area is a little bit creepy at night. Staffs don't really speak English.

we first got a room where there was dead animals in the shower and the room was stinky! we moved room and they just did so much spray so we didn’t notice the smell in this one as well! the location was not good! in a dangerous area. even the local people warned us. we were 10 people together

The facilities are great, the breakfast (included) has good options, is fresh and tasty .

The surroundings are quite filthy, the streets have garbage and the traffic is chaotic. The only thing I can critic about the room is that it had the 110V socket placed right above one pillow: if you connect anything there you would have to scooch yourself to the other half of the bed.
