Very nice and welcoming guest. The room as well as the shared bathroom were clean, there was a hot water. You can order a dinner and breakfast or you can choose from the menu in the bar. The food was delicious and more than enough. The location is great with a nice view. We could store our luggage after check-out and the guest also arranged a taxi to Usguli for 50 gel per person.

My sister and I arrived after hiking in the rain all day. We immediately took hot showers and then relaxed in our room with a really nice electric heater that felt great. This was our last night after hiking from mestia to ushguli and the food was the best meal yet. Our host made many different dishes and it was truly amazing. When we asked for a beer, she went outside in the rain and grabbed two for us. In the morning I wanted something extra for breakfast and she gladly got it for me. A truly great host that I would recommend.

Great accommodation in Ushguli, guesthouse lady was incredibly willing to do anything to make our stay more pleasant. For example she cooked according to our wishes even when we came late and we did not have to pay full price, just meals from menu which we wanted. Also she cooked something what was not prepared in the evening, it is service as from five-star hotel. The prices were also pretty great and meal was fantastic. You will not regret staying here. Also they took us back to Mestia when we needed.

We booked this last minute and the family was incredibly welcoming. The breakfast was very tasty and the room comfortable.

The room was simple but clean and had everything we needed for one night „in the mountains“. Even though communication in English was basically not possible, we managed to express our desire for dinner when we arrived at the guesthouse in the late afternoon and the hosts spontaneously prepared a fantastic Georgian dinner for us in their warm living room with a high variety of delicious local specialties - we definitely recommend to have dinner (and ideally ask in advance) when staying.

We went in mid May and we’re the only guests. Dinner varied day by day (which was great!) and breakfast was a hearty and large meal to get you prepped for any hiking activities you may have. We also arranged to get driven down to Mestia with the host directly.

Perfect place, wonderful hosts willing to help with anything. Food was amazing, big variety and everyday something new. One of the best breakfasts/dinners in Georgia. Our second stay here, and we will definitely come back again!

Exactly what we hoped for in a guesthouse. Of course like everything else in this town, don’t expect a luxury stay but the beds were comfy and warm, the showers were hot and the food was great! The owner and her family were friendly and the best part by far was the view of the mountains!

Very nice place in a family house. The homemade food was excellent, plenty and one of the best I had in Georgia. We reached Ushuguli after a long hike day and was a great place to rest, take a hot shower and eat amazing food.

At night we could hear the people downstairs drinking and speaking really loud, so took a while to sleep. Wi-Fi not always available.

Fare for the price, good food and nice hospitality

There was a birthday downstairs so a bit noise and sigarets smoke. The host was really sorry for that and when we let her now she moved them imidiatly

Very nice accomodation. The family was really kind and helpful. They even arranged a horse tour to the glacier for us, we definitely recommend that to everyone! Bonus - the host is a brilliant cook!

The warm and nice welcome of the family and of course the food. Delicious, fresh, Georgian and a lot :-). The "bar" in the garden is special and cute. Nice address, not too many bedrooms, peaceful.

We had a good and authentic stay in Ushguli and the food for dinner was delicious, with a good value for money (25 GEL per person per meal). Our room was pragmatic furnished with a bed and a tiny table and we had an amazing view on the glacier. Also meeting other travelers there was really nice and we could also share the dinners with them and learn about other travel plans like biking in the mountains.

Sometime the staff was quite short in providing answers or support for our travel plans, e.g. when we asked some questions about how to get to Ushguli as well as during our stay. Information about the facilities on booking.com like a hot pool and many other points were just not existing.

Very comfortable and friendly. The food was excellent and lots of it. The hostel also arranged horse rental which was good fun.

Great food, one of the best in Svaneti. Everything is cleaan and it has family vibe. They have nice bar. View from terrace is absolutely stunning.

Rooms are really small

The hostess was very friendly and generous making sure my kids had food to eat for free when we arrived. She seemed to genuinely enjoy her job and her guests. She even let my son try milking her cow. There were lots of friendly and interesting travelers there. Very central location in town, and they have charming, friendly children. They served the best guesthouse breakfast I have had. There was a feeling of generosity and love throughout.

The hostesses' brother-in-law, Lasha, was very friendly and generous with wine, cigarettes, and a tour of his old building across the street. Then at night he repeatedly tried to get me to come in his bedroom (adjacent to mine) in the dark, even though I was traveling with my kids and I told him I am happily married. Had it not been for his behavior we would have stayed a second night. Female travelers, dont be too friendly with Lasha!

Everything was great. I will travel and stay there again for sure.

Excellent food

The guesthouse was clean and comfortable.The house's location is really good, and they can make traditional svanetian foods.

We was unlucky with the house. When we're there, there was a blackout in the city. Cause of this the heating wasn't work at the guesthouse, so our night was really cold :(

It was really fantastic guest house in the fantastic pleace. Rooms was quite clean and comfortable and the staff was helpful and friendly. We ordered a breakfast and supper and it was probably the best food we've eaten during our whole stay in Georgia!

During our short stay we didn't observe any drawbacks. It was maybe a little cold inside but for us it wasn't a problem - after all, we were staying in the highest village in Europe. ;)
