Location (if you want to be downtown).
Noise from traffic, noise from nearby nightclubs, bathroom was a bit gross, and oddly didn’t have a shower screen or curtain.
In retrospect, I would have happily paid an extra RM80 (on top of the ~RM180 or so that I paid) to get a significantly nicer hotel. While it’s reasonable value for money given the location, that’s definitely its best feature.
Judging by the deposit you have to leave, you can imagine the types of clientele they may attract. I’d say in general of downtown Johor that it is (and likely will remain for decades to come) NOT a nice part of Malaysia to visit. It is comparatively expensive (presumably given the proximity to SG) and one giant construction site attracting many migrant workers. The same price in downtown KL will get you an AMAZING room in stark contrast.
Had I followed the advice from reception on how long it takes by cab (Grab) to the airport (from two different receptionists) I would have definitely missed my flight. Apparently it takes 25 mins to over an hour (depending on traffic) to get there, and if you have check in baggage, I’d suggest getting there at the recommended 2 hours early.
I was in Johor to check it out, but next time I’ll skip it for elsewhere in Malaysia.

Goed bed, rustige kamer.

Convenient location and friendly staff. Reasonable value for money.
Very basic rooms, noisy, poor WiFi. Ants in the bathroom. Very austere and more like a dormitory

Our second time in here. The reason why we come again bcs of the location & comfortability. Hence, there is no reason to dislike this hotel.

We love the location only
1.:We send email and requested for late check out on the day we check in. Reception told us till 2pm which is subject to the availability given to us. We even confirm again with the reception and it was told again and after 2pm chargeable. The 4th day we came back from our night walk and we even confirm with night receptioninst that our check out is 2pm and after 2pm then is chargeable. She and bf behind counter said yes.
1.1:The last day at 1pm I received a called from Reception saying that we have to make payment of $20. The same reception told us roti prata/ gula² us saying oh no we made a mistake we have to pay. In the end she told us its a treat on her coz it state in the email and msg that its our honeymoon and hang up. She was rude and she argue with u.
2.Internet down for 2 days no service recovery
3. Extra pillow chargeable $10 each
4. Change of towels on same day (coz the towel smell very bad) chargeable $10
5. Never pick up calls so we have to request at counter for water.

Near restaurant and JB Sentral (only around 5-10 mins by car). Got free water dispenser. Comfortable bed even though a budget hotel. This is the most comfortable bed & pillows amongst budget hotels i’ve been.
Need to park at different building as street parking is always full. Got 2 parking building nearby. One is quite expensive (next to this hotel), another one is RM5 perday but need to walk a bit. No space to pray on floor.

i like the design and the outer part of the hotel but then when you go in the rooms, its not that nice. Does not come with hair dryer & ironing board.
Ironing board and dryer separated and sharing.

It was close to the checkpoint and City square.
The walls are so thin that we could hear our neighbours screaming and laughing the whole night.

Clean room and hotel, good location as there is 2min walking distance to Lepak Corner (halal) which is open 24hrs!! And ard 6 to 10min to pasar karat by foot and 5 to 8min to Komtar Jbcc and City square.
Wasn't aware of the security deposit of RM100 per room (refundable) and tax of RM10 per room (non-refundable)

Everything else was pretty okay. The bed is comfortable.
Theres a construction outside of the hotel. The fume from the machines come into the window. There is no bathroom rug to dry your feet. The staff at night was not polite.
