We had the best stay during our trip to Koh Lanta. Mr Yim gave the best hospitality I’ve ever received. We received fresh fruit daily and some mornings received sticky rice for breakfast. He even helped my boyfriend who had a sore blister on his foot. He was very helpful organising a scooter and sightseeing trips for us to the Phi Phi Islands. The rooms were modern, amazing aircon, awesome wifi and a short scooter ride away from the beach and pubs/restaurants. We would 110% stay here again. Great value for money. Thanks for a great stay 🙂

The place is very simple but nice, quite and clean. It gives great value for its price. There is only about 10 mins nice walk to the nearest beach, which was absolutely fascinating. The owner was at our disposal practically all day and he arranged everything we asked for. My friend had a birthday and they decorated our room for that day and made our evening really pleasant.

We hebben hier een heel goed verblijf gehad. Mr. Jim ontving ons met watermeloen en bracht in de ochtend coco sticky rice. Erg gastvrij, ook kun je voor allen vragen bij hem terecht. Verder was het appartement hartstikke schoon en netjes verzorgd. De locatie is fijn en je bent snel op de juiste plek op het eiland.

Es war rundum richtig gut, Zimmer war schön und super sauber und wohlriechend und der Host Mr. Yim ist einfach unschlagbar, so überaus freundlich und hilfsbereit. In Summe sehr empfehlenswert.

Very clean rooms, recently renovated. There is everything you need: aircon, a comfortable mattress, chairs, a table and even a kettle and a fridge for a very good price. The hotel is 5 minutes walking distance to the beach. Yim, the owner, is very funny and always ready to help. He booked for us a scooter and also the speedboat to Phuket, which was cheaper than online with free pickup. He also gave us fruits, I can only recommend this place.

There is no common areas so it's not for people who want to stay all day in their hotel/room.

Hotelik położony przy najpopularniejszej i najbardziej piaszczystej plaży na wyspie. Obok sklepy i knajpki. Najwspanialszy na świecie, troskliwy właściciel Mr. Yim, który we wszystkim doradzi, zawsze pomoże a na kaca rano zostawi koło drzwi mango sticky rice ;) Pokoje nowe, czyściutkie i ciche, sprzątanie i wymiana pościeli co dwa dni, woda w gratisie. Czułam się zaopiekowana i bezpieczna :)

Schone en mooie kamer, comfortabel bed, goede service van mr Yim. Scooter huren via de accommodatie, maakt je toch wat mobieler.

Het zou het nog meer afmaken als er een trekker in de douche aanwezig is.

Mr. Yim und sein Personal haben alles dafür getan, dass wir wundervolle Tage bei ihm verbringen! Daher verlängerten wir unseren Aufenthalt von 2 auf 6 Tage. Super hilfsbereit, nett und gastfreundlich! Das Zimmer ist ausreichend groß und gut ausgestattet, <5min Fußweg zum Strand sowie direkte Anbindung an die Straße mit kleinen Supermärkten und Restaurants. Kop khun krap!

I enjoyed my stay very much. I felt very comfortable in the room and in the place. There was everything available that was needed. Mr. Yim was always available and provided fruits and small rice desserts. He was always helpful and took care of everything organizational. I can only recommend a stay at Lanta Smile Inn!

Eine sehr tolle, saubere Unterkunft mit einer super Lage wenn man mit dem Roller unterwegs ist. Der Besitzer ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Uns hat es wirklich gut gefallen, wir würden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen!

Modern hotel in a great location. Check-in was very smooth - we were greeted with a smile and offered help with anything we needed (bike rental, tranfers etc.). The room was very well presented, clean and well equipped. The airconditioning was powerful, which we very much appreciated in the heat! The friendly host checked in on us daily and is generally around the property when you need anything, even providing us with fresh watermelon on many occasions! We especially loved the location because it is close-by everything you need, including restaurants and the beach. You can rent a bike for a good price and drive to the quieter parts of Lanta if you wish. I would definitely return.

If you are after complete privacy, I probably wouldn't recommend as there is generally someone hanging around the property. This wasn't a big issue for us, as it meant the host was always available for any queries.

Very clean place close to the beach and restaurants. The hospitality of Mr Yim is unbeatable, always make sure everything is fine and also gives you watermelon and small treats. Would definitely come back!

I had a really pleasant stay. The owner Mr Yim is the kindest and brought me watermelon on arrival. Everything was clean, I felt self and secure, close to restaurants and the beach, couldn't ask for anything more. I only stayed for 1 night but would definitely come back!

We stayed here for 4 nights and we had an incredible stay. The room was spacious and new. Yim was super friendly, he brought us fresh fruit every day he saw us and he helped to us with every thing we needed. Thanks!!

very clean and central good value for money close to some bars and night market

it is a place that is good if you go home only for sleeping - it is cheap clean and looks new. it is a bit further from the beach (other side of the road) and no common rooms

Mr Yim was the most amazing host we have ever had the pleasure to meet! On arrival, we had fresh bottled water in the fridge, coffee and teas, toiletries and the room was immaculate and so clean. Mr Yim couldn't have done anything more for us. He helped us out with everything from scooter rental, laundry, extra supplies, wind clips! He brought us sticky rice with coconut wrapped in banana leaves or a fresh fruit bowl (straight from the trees)in the mornings for breakfast and was just one of the kindest people we have ever met. Pop the housekeeper thoroughly cleaned our room every 3 days including changing the bed and was very sweet and helpful too. The location is perfect! It is a few minutes walk across the road to the Long Beach which is the most beautiful beach on the island in our opinion. it is also very close to many restaurants and shops but tucked away from any noise. We hired a scooter for at least a week and explored the entire island and found this location the best. It is a 10 minute drive to Saladan which is busy and about 30 mins to the far southern beaches which were peaceful and pretty. We had a wonderful time at Lanta Smile Inn and were sad to leave today. We will definitely be returning when we visit Thailand again. 5***** and thank you Mr Yim!!

Nothing to dislike at all.

We spend a month in Smile Inn and had a great time thanks to the team. The owner has helped us every time that we needed something : laundry, scooter, booking snorkeling day, taxi... The cleaning staff was also nice and friendly. The location was ideal, we could go in the North or South of the Island very easily. The beach was at 5 min. We hope to come back soon.

Great location, quiet, clean and Mr Yim (the host) was very helpful, chatty and lovely. We will definitely be back in the future.

Everything was super good, we received help to organize the tours and with our entire trip. I totally recommend it ☺️
