12 of us stayed at this home and it was perfect. Plenty of room so that everyone had their space. Kitchen had everything you needed. Most rooms had a humidifier as well. Beds slept great. Location was convenient to slopes and stores. Plenty of games or movies and a pool table. Very nice having a washer/dryer available as well.

We used this house for a 4 generation family ski vacation to Angel Fire. The property was exactly as described in the listing. Communication with the owner was excellent, and the location was a very short drive to the slopes and very near the market as well. We were very pleased with this experience and would certainly use this property again in the future.

This was our 2nd time to stay here with friends and family. It's such a warm home and cozy home, but with a ton of space! It's super close to the Angel Fire slopes and Lowe's grocery store. Everything was perfect!

Very nice home with abundantly equipped kitchen and linens. Comfortable beds. Owners are very accessible and accommodating. Great location with ease in and out and extremely peaceful. A great value and highly recommend.

Lots of room in this house! The kitchen has just about any tool you might need, even for cooking a holiday meal. Loved the gas fireplace - so easy and so cheerful!! The pool table is a definite plus and provided lots of enjoyment by all! The location is within view of the ski slopes and the walking trails throughout the community are fantastic!!

We had a amazing experience renting this property. The owners and property manager where great to work with. The house was well stocked, clean, and spacious. We enjoyed the views from the back deck and watching the wild life. You couldn’t beat the location with easy access to events at Frontier Park, trails, and the downtown shops.

This home was PERFECT. We had two families - 11 people total and we had PLENTY of space. The kitchen was fully stocked. The downstairs common space was a huge hit with the kiddos - playing pool or watching a movie. The upstairs common area was incredibly cozy with a fireplace and and floor to ceiling windows to watch it snow. We can’t describe how warm and comfortable this home felt. We made some great memories here!!

This was the perfect home for our family’s ski trip. Everything we could have needed or wanted was available.

Three families with lots of teens enjoyed this great home. Plenty of room to spread out and plenty of hot water for showers after skiing. Super comfortable, clean, with easy access.

We loved our stay here! It was perfect for our large family. It was in a very convenient spot being so close to the market. We had a short drive to the resort where we parked and either walked or rode the trolley. We loved that there was a downstairs because it gave us room to get away from each other. We really liked the pool table and bar downstairs as well. The mud room down stairs was an awesome bonus too! Overall we loved this cabin and hopefully will get to stay in it again next year!

Beautiful cabin that easily fit our large family. We loved how the Downstairs let us spread out and have our own space. Very happy with our stay here!

The house is idyllic, set in the valley with lovely views of the mountains. It has a cozy lodge feel, is well maintained, and offers high end appliances and furnishings. Lots of amenities such as a pool table, two bars, washer and dryer, etc. The hideaway loft is a fun place for kids! With two living areas and five + bedrooms, it's ideal for large gatherings. Perfect for hiking, fishing, skiing, and watching the sunrise/sunset from the large deck.

We enjoyed our stay here with our kids and grand kids. The sleeping arrangement worked out well. Great location. However, we were not pleased as this house needs some TLC i.e. two of the shower hot water facets were very difficult to turn on and regulate, the rug in the living area is really dirty/needs replacement, the back deck awning does not work, windows were dirty, garage needs desperate cleaning, kitchen cookware and utensils needs improvement, master bath shower needs remake as mold is evident around bottom edges. We would not rent this house again unless above improvements were made.

After a rocky start the week was enjoyed by all. The bedrooms were comfortable, the living area is a good size and room for all. The pool table was used by men and boys. The fishing on the Cimmaron was great and golf was good. Hiking was good for all. The house has many amenities. And the property manager was great. A good week for all.

This was a perfect place to stay for our family! The pool table was a hit. Even tho there was not much snow at the time that we went, we had alot of fun playing pool and playing in the little bit of snow that was right around the house. The kitchen was well stocked with pots/pans and utensils. Randy was very helpful prior to our arriving answering any questions that we had. The only thing that we were not prepared for was that there was no toilet paper when we arrived. Thankfully we arrived earlier than expected and found the Dollar General open so that we could purchase some. We were able to resolve this issue, and would have taken some if we would have known that we needed to. Other than that small detail, the house was awesome!!!! We would LOVE to stay here again when coming back to Angel Fire.

We took the whole family to Angel Fire for some skiing in late February, 2017. There were 13 of us total ranging in ages from 1 to almost 70. This house had plenty of room for all to have their own space, and not be on top of each other. The local property manager was very responsive to our requests and took care of them well. The snow was a little light this year, but the weather was great and since we had 6 beginners in the group, it was good for us. I would recommend this house, and would stay there again if we go back to Angel Fire. The only complaint would be that since you have to haul your own trash to the city collection point, and it had recently been moved, it should be better identified for out of town folks. somewhat challenging to find in the dark the last night of the trip. Otherwise everything was great.

We had a wonderful time in this beautiful home. We did have a couple very minor issues the first day as we were getting settled but the owners were extremely helpful and very responsive! The house had plenty of room for our large family. I would recommend this house to anyone going to Angel Fire.

This past July, we stayed in the Atchison’s home for the entire month. The house is large and in a great location. We had several relatives visit us during the month and it never felt crowded. The house is beautifully decorated and equipped with anything we needed while we vacationed in Angel Fire. I loved the new appliances so much that I have decided to buy new ones for my own home. The home is close to the main part of town yet the large yard made me feel that I was in a secluded area. Since greenbelt is less than a minute from the house, every morning I would get up and go on a nice walk along the greenbelt. The deck has a great awning. It was so peaceful to sit on the deck and watch the deer come down to graze as the sun was setting in the mountains. I cannot wait to stay in this home next year.

We just spent 6 days in this wonderful home. It was great. We had our son and his family join us which included his five children. The oldest kids stayed downstairs, which was perfect for them. The house was just what we were looking for. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to prepare the meals. The weather cooperated wonderfully and was such a relief from the triple digits in Texas. The kids had a great time playing in the yard and chasing after prairie dogs and chipmonks. There were a few minor issues that popped up, but the owner Randy was quick to respond and handle everything. I really appreciate how all my inquiries were responded to immediately. We look forward to returning to this house with our children and grandchildren for years to come.

Lynn and Randy Atchison's home in Angel Fire was easily accessible, yet surrounded by stately pines and glorious mountain views. Every day we were there, helped erase the stressors of city life. The back deck was the perfect setting for our morning coffee or a glass of wine in the evenings. It was quiet and peaceful, and the only comings and goings involved cottontail rabbits or cute chipmunks scurrying about. On occasion we even saw an elk or a deer grazing in the distance, with the only noise coming from melodic song birds. The house is extremely spacious and equipped with anything one might need when on vacation. The living area has a bar, a great fireplace, a huge TV, and plenty of room for a large gathering of friends or family. And the floor-to-ceiling windows allow nature to come in and make things even cozier. The living area opens into the light and airy kitchen where we cooked all but a couple of meals. There we enjoyed the magical views which provided the backdrop to our delightful dining experience. We took walks around the neighborhood and several drives to neighboring areas, taking in the verdan scenery and brisk country air. One afternoon, on our way back from Red River, we had to stop and take pictures of a large herd of elk grazing peacefully on the mountainside, something we never expected to see. We also ventured to Taos, which offers a scenic drive that showcases pines and aspens, flowing streams and beautiful rock formations. The town square in Taos has a variety of stores selling all kinds of native art work and wares, and all within walking distance. We also decided to take the road out to Espanola and try out some of the wineries. They did not disappoint! The lake at Eagel Nest is another beautiful sight to behold and only about ten miles from Angel Fire; it is supposed to have some great fishing , something we didn't do, but is on our list for the next summer trip to Angel Fire. Our week, although most relaxing, ended far too quickly. Needless to say, we were sad to leave the Atchison's little slice of heaven in Angel Fire. But we're looking forward to returning in the winter to enjoy some skiing and more of the majestic mountain beauty, this time under a thick blanket of snow.

We had a great time staying at this house for a spring break ski trip with 4 adults and 4 high school boys. The adults had a spacious upstairs area with comfortable and clean bedrooms and bathrooms. The boys stayed downstairs in the separate apartment, which they really enjoyed. The kitchen and dining area provided plenty of room to get together for meals, but the layout allowed for privacy and relaxation for both parents and kids. It was a fantastic stay and I couldn't recommend the house more, especially to large families or a couple of families traveling together.
