Spacious room, clean, centric. I do not complain about the music at night. Pl- del Carmen is a party place. If you want to have it quiet do not go there or stay away from the center. It is ones own decision to got there or not!!! Nice pool to use.

Rooms are very dark inside, no daylight, I felt locked up- only the rooms towards the street have daylight. Upon arrival had to wait more than half hr for check-in. Receptionist had to take care of another place too. After waiting one hr in line for passport control, another half for the bus ticket, the bus ride (all after a transatlantic flight) this was just the top. No wifi in the room, a hotel nowadays should invert in room wifi, not only offer it in common areas.

The colonial style was great

I’ve stayed here 3 times now and like the location, decor, staff is always nice, and I like to treat myself with a bathtub when possible.

There was a strong smell of mildew, noticeable especially when the AC was off. Also I always feel like the room keys and remote controls are not clean.

Location, staff, amazing pool, good restaurant next door. Very clean, front desk very friendly and patient with my limited Spanish. Wonderful hacienda feel. Few steps to beach and 5th Ave but no 5th Ave noise at night. Room amenities very good.

Bed was exceptionally hard!! Hot water sometimes limited.

location is great . check in was fast and very efficient

pool was closed for the duration of my stay because someone threw up in it . Did not manage to clean it . security and staff friendliness can be improved in significantly. never a good reason to get loud and aggressive to guests .

So noisy! Terrible. A lot of spanish people with their lowbred children - screaming all day in the swimming pool so you cant swim there. Then noise at night - up to 3:45 A.M. Uncomfortable bed.

Location was good.

The facilities listed on booking.com did not match those offered. Allocated room did not have a balcony. The shower did not have hot water. The pillows were rock hard.

Location was great! Easy access to everything. The room was smallish and the “balcony” was just a tiny outcropping overlooking the street. The pool was fair sized and clean, but the water was freezing!

No restaurant or bar onsite. One was attached outside, but inconvenient. Coffee in room upon arrival, but we were expected to pay if we wanted any more. No water included in room. Everything just seemed to be on the cheap.
