Basic hotel for a one night stay after having walked from Cercedilla to Segovia (31km) and wanting to do sightseeing next day. Convenient to the famous aquaduct and the old town.

The breakfast buffet was a disaster, the worst I can remember, and I've stayed in some pretty dodgy places in the 51 countries I've been to. I arrived after the large tour group had already been through, but what did they do, sit on the bread? All of the remaining bread and pastries looked like they had been sat on, the croissants were all squished together, and there were crumbs everywhere. I was one of the last people at the breakfast buffet and the one waiter made absolutely no attempt to tidy anything up, just left the mess as it was, including all the tables covered in used dishes and half-eaten food. When the waiter offered me fried or scrambled eggs, I should have said neither, as I ended up with food poisoning which ruined the rest of my visit to Segovia.

I have stayed at this hotel many, many times since, I believe, 1988! The location is incredible with a fabulous view of the Aqueduct of Segovia, the location with respect to the bus one takes to the train station is a very short walk.

The room and bathroom could definitely use an update. But if you are looking for location, this definitely fits the bill.

Location was great, very easy to find and staff was very welcoming.

I requested a double room but bed were separated. Also matresses need to be changed. They are not bad,but can be more comfortable.

We did like the location, the guy from reception was nice and helpful. Room with a beautiful view from the balcony plus a bathtub is super!

Hotel and staff were perfect. We just didn't like the breakfast, it was poor.

Excellent position. More than adequate for overnight stop on route to ferry. Parking although convenient was expensive at €16

Excellent location, just metres away from the aqueduct, even though our rooms did not have a view of it, but you could see it the moment you stepped out of the hotel door. Close to the tourist information office (who were extremely helpful). Great to have a small fridge in the room in the hot weather. No parking outside the hotel although you can stop for 5 minutes to unload bags. The hotel offers a parking deal with the nearest underground carpark for 18 euros a night (I think), however, the concierge told us that on street parking was allowed and directed us to a residential street where it was safe to leave our hire car.

The aircon was not brilliant and was really needed in the hot weather. The hotel is quite dated- the bathroom was a bit dark and =old fashioned and the shower not very fast. That said the accommodation was adequate/comfortable enough for a 2 night stay.

Location.

Leaking bidet and bathwater flooding on to floor on draining tub. Wardrobe doors wouldn't slide! Need to be a weight lifter to move them. A bit dated decor overall.

The room was not clean, the wall were dirty with humidity on the ceiling. The bathroom was smelling and the toilet cover was broken. Absolutely not a 3 star hotel
