The staff were polite and helpful and the room was excellent. I especially loved the face washer for makeup. I always take my own as not to dirty the one supplied. Parking on site too which is always convenient.

The reception staff were very friendly and certious. The room was large and well laid out. The outdoor area near my room was a great place for a cuppa.

There wasn't much to dislike about this place. Would gladly stay there again.

Everything went very well, from check-in to check-out. The lady on reception was extremely helpful. The room itself was a very good size, very comfortable and clean with all that you would need. Even given a cup of milk at reception for the tea and coffee provided in the room. Reception gave me a number to call to book a taxi for 5am, because I was catching a flight, was a little nervous it would turn up, but the lady reassured me that in the 7 years she had worked there, the taxi service had never failed. In addition, there is an electronic button near reception and 1st floor, just press and straight through to a taxi service. The taxi did turn up as booked. The hotel is also very well located and close to many restaurants within a 15 minute walk. Plus the drive to the airport only takes 6 minutes. Ample car parking for guests.

The only minor negative, was that a well stocked vending machine for snacks and drinks was out of service.

Plenty of room well set out. Comfortable bed and pillows. Very clean.lovely and peaceful. Great space undercover for BBQ and drinks. Good value for money. Manager excellent.

Nothing stands out to complain about

Our room was the cleanest we have ever stayed in, for an older room even the bathroom and shower was spotless. The receptionist was extremely friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Didn't get to see the lap pool or use the barbecue facilities.

Friendliness of staff! Not here long enough to find faults. Will hope to stay again on our return journey.

We stayed during a terrible storm that caused a lot of damage to the town. Under very difficult circumstances, the staff ensured that we had everything we needed and were very obliging and flexible.

We were disappointed in the size of the pool and surrounding area.

Very friendly and helpful receptionist at check-in, providing info. about Port Macquarie and booking a taxi to take me back to the coach station very early in the morning. Quite reliable. The WiFi in the room worked very well, quite fast and the kitchenette supplies in the room were good.

It could be rather noisy sometimes outside the "Executive Double Room" (or "Superior Queen Room") since there is a large common area just outside the doors of these rooms. Fortunately, the noise did not continue for too long...a problem with some other guests slamming doors though. The pool is very, very small and not clean. In fact, a sign on its gate said it was "closed for maintenance". No maintenance took place at all during my stay but it was really just a basin to get wet, no swimming was possible due to its tiny size. It should not even be featured in the hotel's advertising given its size and condition, rather misleading if you like to swim as I do.
