The breakfast was very good, and beautifully presented. The room was amazing and Rachel and Rodney were great hosts. Exceptional hospitality. The house was close to gardens and shops.

This was an exceptional house to stay at on the edge of New Plymouth CBD and the park. Both the rooms & service was excellent, equivalent to a 5 star hotel. The breakfast each morning were most enjoyable

Breakfast was a lovely little treat each morning and beautifully presented. Rachel and Rodney were such lovely hosts and very accommodating with our Boxer who was recovering from a bad injury. they went out of their way to make all of us feel at home and especially boxer Jasmine!

The location was great an easy walk to town. The facilities were excellent and we could not rate them higher. The breakfast was great.

There was nothing to not like.

Great breakfast,loved the fresh fruit each morning plus a great variety of cooked breakfast each day. Very nice atmosphere in breakfastroom ,nice china etc. Very nice to have the morning paper & sit in lounge to relax after breakfast. Tastefully comfortable in Bedroom & lounge.Felt we could relax . Lovely to have fridge for our wine & great ice bucket ready for us each day.

TV channels were not very good. Parking was a little awkward .Always hard on a busy narrow hilly street.But we managed. Maybe another luggage rack & hooks on other side of fire place.

My room was exceptionally clean & tidy & perfect in every way. It was decorated beautifully. The dining area was light & sunny. The breakfasts were different each morning and absolutely delicious!!

The cheerful & helpful hosts, the breakfasts, the clean & pleasant surroundings, the verandah for just sitting & relaxing...every detail was thoughtfully planned and presented.

Absolutely beautiful

We were there for a concert in the park and the location is the best for it ! Just right next to the park so just enjoy the walk in the park to get to the venue. The house itself is beautiful and we enjoyed breakfast with garden view there. Rachel is an awesome host with great local knowledge and is very flexible about the checkin and checkout. Cooked yummy breakfast for us too! We enjoyed our New Plymouth weekend and felt very relaxed staying here. Will definitely come back again.

Just personal preference. The bed and pillow was too soft for me. And I enjoy a little sleep-in. Could be better with blackout curtains. However, it doesn’t change the fact that the place is amazing.

Delicious and varied breakfast, very helpful and friendly hosts, very comfortable room, easy access, nice and relaxed about check-in and check-out.

Could hear quite a bit of noise from the street - this wouldn't deter me from staying again, I'd just bring earplugs next time :)

Such lovely hosts, easy access to the bowl of Brooklands venue very close to the city, wonderful suite we stayed in.

Location was great, Rachel gave us great information for eating and experiences. Pukekura park lit up was spectacular and varied breakfast was lovely
