Pleasant last minute stay and booking. Alex was awesome as normal

Considering the type of people that Alex has in her property, it was a pleasant enough stay. She deals with a lot of delinquent people but she does it will.

There was drama with some lady there but she was escorted away with police later on.

I would think twice about rebooking, simply because of the pushiness of staff.

The location to town and Pukekura Park was great. Our main reason for being there was the Festival of Lights

The staff were a bit pushy in expecting a check in time. We were travelling from Levin, we knew we would be there before check in closed but we felt rushed by them to check in. So much so that I was unable to catch up with my sister who was performing at the Festival of Lights.

Pleasant

The internet was bad, but the owner helped and gave us a better modem. We had the coffee tea milk Clean sheets Still , was too expensive, actually exaggerated !

The owner shouldn't come in the room when we are not there, because when open the door , our kitties could run out and could be lost . When a motel is PET FRIENDLY, that means you have your pet in the room ! So ,if the owner want to check the room or clean or anything else, need to ask the guests to be present and take care of their pet ! Lucky that at the time we had our kitty's whit us on our trip .

Location awesome.

Been charged before even arrived.bathroom area was in need of alot of maintenence. Not been welcomed when arrived just have you booked.

It was that bad, after I paid the $150 I went and checked out the room, it was that bad I rung 5 other places before I could find another room and just gave the key back and went somewhere else, my dog kennels are cleaner and smell better. i will never use this website again to book my accommodation.

Disappointing

Staff are great and cheap price. Good for a 1 night stay at quick notice.

It needs to be stated on the advertisement that it's used for emergency housing ( no discredit to the people in this situation) but I would not recommend if you have a child with you as there is alot of obscene language and people staring anytime you come or go.

The location was good. The proprietor was friendly.

The unit smelled strongly of stale cigarettes and was tired. The room was clean, but very basic. The motel is used for homeless housing and a couple of the male residents made me feel quite unsafe

won’t be my first choice to stay at again

I found the bed comfortable.

property is run down and needs maintenance. door to the room needed jiggling to unlock. no smoke alarms. other peoples person information sitting on the counter for the world to see. managed to shut the kitchen window but was a struggle. shower head needs replacing. yuck stains all over the carpet.

Disappointed with the surrounding noise. Could hear every footstep from upstairs. Thumping on wall or outside early hours. Kitchen stove run only on high. Was a bit scared about security of my vehicle and items in rooms. Pushing reception texting when I was checking in. Checking times say up to 9pm. Traveling from out of town roadworks arriving at 8pm Will not stay here again

Cheap budget accommodation that was okay for a one night stay.

My bed was comfortable

Very noisy with vehicles coming and going. Adjoining unit occupants had visitors and quite noisy up until 11pm. Busy road outside that carries a lot of traffic.

I ended up cutting the stay short because my worker did not want to stay another night and they refunded the money for the night with out question.

It’s yuck and there’s emergency housing. Had people being loud the place is filthy and stinks. Stayed 2 nights wanted my money back but this lady who runs it is wicked. Don’t stay here better yet get it off this website

Would have preferred to stay somewhere else.

Dated, but servicable.

Not the operators problem, but permanent tenants were not expected and there was a level of discomfort intruding on other peoples community. Permanent residency is good for people needing it and income for the operator, so no complaints on the situation, just would have preferred to know.
