Enjoyed the rusticality. Felt like authentic rural - the big saw , corregated iron and rusty rabbit trap. Loved all the vegetation too. Spacious.

The supplied bowls are very shallow.

The entire vibe with the trees and the hammocks and the Environmental conscious theme. Close to the Esplanade with bars and walks.

TV didn't function on the higher channels for an important sports game (no big deal). Room quite closed in with one small window (also not a major as you should be outside!)

Room was cozy with a nice bed. Kitchen was nice and clean and very cozy as well. Loved the hammocks in the garden. Helpful staff.

Bugs in kitchen and ants ate our food, but the staff was really helpful with giving us a new bag and trying to get rid of the ants. Kitchen was a bit small and didn’t have a lot of cooking equipment so at times you had to wait your turn.

No office staff on arrival despite noted office open times, had to call. Wanted to charge for leaving bags with them after midday on check out …. Used covid hardship as a reason but no other hostels charge and all in same situation, including travellers.

Gardens well kept. Everything clean. Close to beach. Pretty good value for money. Manager pleasant.

T V didn't work. Air con old and inefficient.

Lovely place to stay with great communal areas. The rooms were very comfortable. Also close to the beach and the restaurants. Would definitely recommend a stay here.

Comfy bed, clean facilities, quiet

Clean, friendly, mostly quiet, nice environment with places to relax. Room has air conditioning and provided with plates and kitchen equipment. large kitchen with a lot of items and place to store food. Enough bathrooms and toilets which were clean. bed was comfortable. Lots of easy places and options to dispose of rubbish. Price was affordable.

No blankets or towels, and laundry use was expensive. Our room was very noisy as it was next to the kitchen, every little tiny noise could be heard. Our room was in the attic and I kept hitting my head, it was a bit cramped and also the skylight was excessively and uncomfortably bright early in the morning.

I arrived after reception closure, I called Megan who welcomed me. She explained everything and had a box of crockery ready for me, which I did not take because I was staying overnight only. The room was clean, sheets were freshly laundered, there was a mini-fridge and a tea station. The communal kitchen was clean ans there was everything to cook.

The communal toilets could be a bit cleaner.
