We were looking for a base from which we could visit all the sights, but also be able to return and relax. Ikurangi proved ideal. It was conveniently located, but had a degree of serenity which is not easily found in the beachside areas. We very much enjoyed our walks around the area and the locals were always friendly and courteous. The pool was a great spot to relax on a quiet day, Possum the cat would pop over to say hello. The hosts and staff could not have been nicer. We walked to M & R Roast for dinner, it was a great meal, whilst being serenaded by a local singer. There are also cafes and convenience stores not too far away.

The breakfasts were amazing, hosts were helpful. The location was so quiet and restful!

You really need a car - wasn't a problem and we found one quickly.

Das gesamte Grundstück ist hervorragend gepflegt und man fühlt sich direkt wohl! Die Zelte sind schön groß und es ist eine wirklich außergewöhnliche Erfahrung dort zu übernachten. Das Outdoor Badezimmer hat uns ebenfalls sehr gefallen! Alan und Vicky sind hervorragende Gastgeber und das Frühstück, welches von Alan jeden Morgen ans Zelt gebracht wird, ist fantastisch. Nachhaltigkeit sollte auf den Cook Inseln überall so gelebt werden.

Die Hähne sind ganztags aktiv und bei leichtem Schlaf könnte man dadurch wach werden.

The breakfast was delicious and very beautifully presented. The gardens were delightful. It was a very peaceful place and it was interesting to walk through the local agricultural area to get to the bus.

The breakfasts were all very healthy and organic. They were also very well-presented.

Personally I would have preferred to be asked my choices ahead of time, so that I could opt for the things I liked best.

Vicki and Alan are very friendly and helpful, the place is clean, a different experience to enjoy.

Many mosquitos outside, will need mosquito repellent for sure.
