Good kitchen, lot's of space.

There were some problems with internet that eventually resolved. No substantial problems emerged. When going downstairs, it can be a bit loud during the night.

Easy check-in. Housekeeping staff was excellent. They washed and dried some of my clothes for me. Apartment was close to tram stop which made it easy to get to where you were going.

This room is a little noisy in the evening and morning as it is near the parking area but late night and during the day noise is not a problem.

In many ways like stepping into another time, but at the same time having all modern necessities including being able to block out the noise from Berliner Str. when this is desirable. We have stayed in almost 10 other places in Potsdam, but this beats them all. Will definitely return to "Alte Fritz".

Suggestions for improvement: In order to make the bathing conditions safer for seniors, they should probably install a handle on the wall and a non-slip surface in the bathtub.

The rooms are warm, with comfortable beds. The bathroom is clean & spacious, and the kitchen well equipped. Everything was as described & well organized.

The kitchen kitchen overhead light could use a brighter lightbulb🙂

Exceptional suite located between two beautiful lakes in Potsdam and about 10 minute walking distance to Potsdam's historical city centre. Super cozy and warm place, unique furniture and interior design inspired by the Prussian monarchy. An absolute bargain for what you get.

18th Century Villa in the Former East Berlin/German city of Potsdam It’s fully updated to modern standards while maintaining minute details of the past. Reception executive lady was very helpful showed room keys opened gate and so on. it’s a clean facility and everything worked as promised. Bonus was car parking was free inside the property. Just 6 miles or so from Berlin Capital City. Definitely it’s value for money. If you have time please go through the documents and book they placed at the reception for historic facts.

The location is absolutely perfect! Amazing part of town, near so many major parks, the theatre, the dutch quarter, and a safe location. Shops, local cafes all nearby.

The shower in our room was broken. Only one of the shower heads worked (not typically an issue), but the working shower head sprayed a lot of water out of the shower. We just had to clean the water, so it was fine overall.

I travelled with two friends and we booked the apartment. Location: excellent. From Potsdam train station by tram was around 10mins and the tram stop is literally across the road from the hotel. It is in the centre town and near lots of sights. The real gem for us was the tour bus stop was across the road from the hotel - it is perfect. Loved the period features! Room: We booked the apartment which was split level with the double bed on one floor and the single bedroom, kitchenette and bathroom below: Loved it! We adored the olde worlde or period feel of the property, it was very tastefully decorated and also very clean in this covid era. The apartment is large and with three women, we had ample space. Bathroom: again excellent. Great power shower and bath. There were complimentary shower gel, shampoo, and lotion. A good amount of towels too. Kitchenette: good size with kitchen equipment provided. Host: great! We were given the necessary information prior to arriving at the hotel and so check-in was seamless and more importantly in covid time - contact Wi-fi: Decent, can’t complain We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back.

Here now and loving it! Instructions for entry to the building and my room were provided 24 hours prior to my arrival. The Pension Villa Fritz is centrally located in the charming town of Potsdam. There is average street noise however it is not at all noticeable when the windows are closed. The room itself is charming and elegant and reflective of having been built in 1865. However, there are some modern pleasant surprises such as automated darkening blinds, a very large modern bathroom with towel warmer and a fridge on the spacious veranda which was a pleasant surprise. There is also a Nespresso style coffee maker and a kettle with a selection of teas. The coffee capsules though did not provide me with the taste of a good cup of Nespresso coffee, they are off brand and weak but not a big deal. If I come back I will bring my own capsules. The bed is pretty and special, the mattress is a foam type like I have at home and the pillows are generous and super fluffy. I travelled from Canada and was ready for a shower and nap when I arrived. It was nice to have a grocery store nearby where I was able to procure some food items and avoid having to find a restaurant. I would stay here again in a heartbeat! Very lovely place!

The coffee capsules for the Nespresso machine were off brand and not good

We got very precise instructions on how to get to our room upon arrival, which made it very easy. The room was clean and comfortable, with everything that one would expect. The kitchen had everything one would need to make simple meals (important for me as I'm a celiac and sometimes restaurants are not an option). Walking distance to the center of Potsdam.

The only slightly negative thing was that we weren't warned before arrival that they needed a negative Covid test or proof of vaccination. We found out once we had checked in due to a note in the bedroom. It would have been nice to know beforehand because then we would have saved time by bringing one from earlier in the day. But apart from his, everything else about the stay was great.

We stayed for one night to catch an early flight from Berlin SXF (30mins drive) Great location, quiet!! Although located off quite a busy road. Comfy bed. lovely period-style townhouse. Complimentary nibbles + good coffee. Free off-road parking. Amazing Indian food restaurant within walking distance.
