The room was warm, bedshits are clean, in the city center

Bathroom stinks, the towels that we've got were not clean, I found hairs there...the building is old, the place itself and the room very ugly and unwelcome, bed and pillows are very very uncomfortable. We paid 100 dollars for 1 nights , is better pay 30 dollars more and get better place. I've been before in guesthouses and hostels and I have better experience there. This ace doesn't deserve 1 star and 100 dollars is too high. NOT RECOMMENDED

no breakfast included so not applicable. central location was perfect

the furniture and beds were poor and there was no protective mattress cover. the paintwork and so on needed 'refreshing'

Great Central location in a beautiful building right next to the piazza ferrari and the old town, the rooms were big and airy. . Bathroom was small but shower good. Good price for a central location.

Mould in the bathroom and only a thin sheet on the bed over an elderly mattress. The bed spread also looked old. The rooms are off a very busy party Square so it was quite noisy outside even at 11pm. I slept fine but just a warning!

Our stay at Albergo Panson was great. Everything was as described, the location was perfect and the room was very clean. Would definitely recommend it!

it is very noisy. we couldn't sleep before 4am because of people chatting in the streets.

It is directly in the city center, the place has its own restaurant which is really great. The host is very nice and helpful, we could check in at night and the day we left we could leave our bags until 4 p.m. I totally enjoyed the place, at nighttime it was a bit loud outside, but we knew that and it was alright. We had our own bathroom and we got the keys so we could rerun late at night. I'll definitely recommend this place and I'll come back soon!

location is great low budget

rooms are above bars, very loud until approx 2 in the morning. bed is not good. WC/Bathroom has only a door, but no ceiling. No air conditioner. one ventilator but was broken after full night working

Location was unbeatable, I rated this very high but it may not be for everyone. The hotel is in the heart of genoas old district with narrow cobblestone streets and plazas. We felt like we had a truly Italian experience. If your looking for atmosphere this is the place.

Hotel is situated just right in the center of Genova, 100 m of Piazza de Ferrari, just in perfect Italian yard. Good wifi, bright room, equipped with towels and all toilets. Location is just perfect with a nice view on Piazza dell’Erbe

So, if someone can’t sleep in noise, this place won’t be a good fit. As it’s situated on the piazza that is full of cafes. But for me it was just perfect listening to Italians and have a great view

The entrance smells like cat pee and there is not air conditioning

I can't remember my room number, the toilet and shower is very close to me, so it's good. But there is a open air bar in front of your room. When you open the window it's too loud, music and people chatting. In my case it's probably 3am, they closed. But if you close the window it will hot as a sauna！

The location was excellent if you like to be central. Our room overlooked a bustling piazza (this did mean it could be noisy at night but this was not an issue for us). A communal fridge was provided outside the room which was a nice touch. The building itself also looked very nice.

The room was a little on the small side

1 star hotel, a suitable solution at a decent price. The hotel is located in the historical hart of Genoa.

My room facing on Piazza delle Erbe (a "movida" place...), therefore it could be noisy during the evening hours.

The location was excellent

I would honestly pay an extra £50 than stay here another night. I’m all for paying a cheap price and staying in a basic room but this isn’t cheap and the facilities are worse than basic. There isn’t air con, which would be fine if you could open the window. The shower leaks everywhere. The toilet doesn’t flush. There are stains on the towels and on my pillow there was a blood stain. There were left over toiletries from the people before. Poorly cleaned room. Plugging something in turned off the light and now my adapter is broken. If you want or enjoy Genova don’t stay here.
