This Geoffrey Bawa designed property is simply stunning. With frangipani trees and good-sized rooms, one feels instantly relaxed. Staff are friendly and competent. Food is delicious. Great sunset views from the beach.

What would have made my review a 10 on 10: If more information about the ayurveda was forthcoming from the hotel before our stay. As most of the guests are repeat visitors, I guess they don't realise how much more first-time visitors would like to know.

I've spend an amazing holiday here for 2 weeks. Very good and delicious food, very interesting and very effective healing program. There were a lot of Covid protection measures. There were attentive and pleasant personnel. Thank you very much for wonderful rest!

Would have liked eggs if they were offered more than once in a 10 day stay!! Cucumber on offer at breakfast, lunch and eventually, (after being recycled many times), was transformed into a curry for dinner! Eggs offered once during a 10 day stay, (well 8 days as it was impossible to stay longer due to starvation and bites). No meat, cheese or fish, apparently under the auspices of healthy food. To avoid starvation, bread was always available, although we were advised not to consume it as it was unhealthy.

Bed bugs, sand fleas and mosquitoes were rampant and attacked day and night! When a complaint was made regarding the biting insects, (which they insisted that they were ants) a ready made cream was offered. With cream at the ready, we were clearly not the first people to request something to ease the itching. Sadly it was not effective and required a trip into town to source an effective cream. A real highlight was when the air-conditioning was turned on, which was limited to outside of meal times. Mealtimes occupied approx 6 hours a day and until 9pm at night! The electricity was temperamental and one night did not work at all. In the hot and humid conditions, the combination of biting insects and uncomfortable heat, made sleeping almost impossible (even with the mosquito nets provided). Overall unpleasant, uncomfortable and happy to leave early!!

A fantastic Programme with professional caring Ayurvedic Drs. A great place to refresh. Food was completely different and welcomed by the body.

A few small fixes to some spa rooms will make this place perfect but it’s not a big deal.
