Le calme et l’agencement du bungalow, la piscine, la proximité du lagon (très agréable de s’y baigner le matin )ainsi que l’accueil chaleureux d’Elodie !

Peut-être le manque de serviettes de toilettes mais c’est un détail !

The location is quiet. Not much around, you are obliged to drive a lot. It’s a little compound, no view. The staff, Elodie was very kind and considerate.

It’s a sterile vacation rental, not much personality, meh beach, meh view. It’s a clean safe place to sleep with a nice bed, a washing machine and good WiFi. No drinking water, no toilet paper, no kitchen towels. It is very basic.

Lots to rave about: - the wider property is beautifully designed with lovely gardens, a wonderful pool and gorgeous wooden decking - Lots of thought has gone into the design and materials - Elodie was really friendly and very helpful, an excellent host - The location is good, provided you are happy to drive: Hermitage beach (the nicest one!) is 10 mins by car and lots of good restaurants are within 15 mins - The studio was nice and spacious, well equipped, and with a good powerful shower.

We were a bit disappointed with the location: the property is on a cul de sac off a busy main road (although the waves from the ocean drown it out!), with a derelict building opposite, and it is difficult to walk to restaurants as the road doesn't have a pavement the whole way and it doesn't feel entirely safe. So it is not so good if you like a couple of glasses of wine with dinner, as we ended up driving! There is a small beach next to the property, but the ones at Saline, Hermitage and Boucan Canot are much nicer, so we drove to them instead. We were required to sweep and mop the floors before leaving - I think this is more common in France, but we stay in lots of rental properties in the UK and across Europe and have never needed to clean them.
