Amazing location, tasty breakfast and afternoon tea and the staff was very nice and helpful.

Bathroom could use upgrade

The staff were so nice and helpful and really couldn't do enough to make our stay better. We arrived during afternoon tea which was offered to us while we checked in. Our room was very spacious and clean, and quiet. The location is excellent, just a short walk to Ben Thanh market, as well as plenty of places for sightseeing and eating.

The bed was a little soft for my taste but there was nothing wrong with it. We used the pool in the afternoon, which was a little crowded in the small space as several guests also had the same idea to cool down, and it's not a very big roof. Still a great view though across the city, and again the staff were excellent.

Personal war sehr freundlich, das Frühstück und der Nachmittagskaffee extrem gut organisiert und lecker. Die Lage des Hotels im Distrikt 1 ist perfekt, um HCMC zu erkunden. Die Poolbar ist zwar klein, aber sehr nett und das Servicepersonal extrem zuvorkommend. Der Pool selber ist nichts besonderes, aber für eine Abkühlung okay.

Wir hatten nach dem Einchecken nur Handtücher für 2 Personen, obwohl wir für 3 Personen (Familie) gebucht haben. Nachdem wir Bescheid gegeben haben, haben wir auch Handtücher für 3 Personen erhalten. Leider wurden diese nach dem Zimmerservice/ Reinigung wieder (ungenutzt) mitgenommen und nur noch ein Badehandtuch und zwei Handtücher zurückgelassen. Auf Nachfrage wurden uns Handtücher zugesagt, die jedoch den Weg zu uns nicht gefunden haben. Beim Auschecken haben wir dies angemerkt (damit nicht angenommen wird, wir hätten Handtücher mitgenommen) wurde dies zur Kenntnis genommen (aber auch leider ohne Bedauern)

There was construction going on, on the roof. They had turned the sauna, hot tub, pool area into a pool and bar area. They were doing further construction on the roof, assuming adding to the amenities. We were on the 2nd floor so had no problems but people on the top could not easily get to their rooms due to the lift being out of service. Minor inconvenience and will most likely be sorted by the time you stay.

Warning: heavy construction in Jan/Feb 2024!! Impacts the whole hotel, including rooftop, noise, smoke from the workers, and even impacts the ONE lift. Don’t stay!

The construction was awful. When we checked in they pretending to ‘upgrade’ us - but they actually put us next to the room with the most construction! Later they said they had no idea it was noisy, which is ridiculous as the workers started drilling at 7am. Really a shame, in an otherwise very lovely country with honest people.

Perfectly located, close to the center. Secured. Staff is very professional. Rooms are great, very clean. I recommend 100%!

Everything was great!

We (couple) stayed at Silverland Yen in August 2023 for three nights, paying 5,8 Mio VND in total without breakfast (extra 200k pP). The hotel is centrally located and clean, breakfast options are satisfiying and the staff is always happy to help. The hotel offers an afternoon tea (incl snacks) and features a small rooftop bar with small Sauna, steam bath and and a little pool (which doesn't allow you to swim, rather to sit).

Drawbacks: - walls are incredibly thin, we woke up as someone was snoring in the next room - the gym is basically inexistant. During our stay, here was one broken and rusty treadmill (which did not work at all), one stepper and some weights, that's it. - Our room (603) just had one tiny tiny window of probably 50x30cm, so there was barely daylight in the room.

Great location and service. They upgraded us to executive room which was nice. The bed was comfortable. We used the jacuzzi, sauna, and steam rooms. A fantastic view from there.

The breakfast buffet was great. Room is clean and the location is awesome. It's located in the heart of the city but there is no noise. We really enjoy our sleep. View from swimming pool is spectacular.

I stayed at the Silverland Yen as a solo female traveller and loved it so much I returned again at the end of my trip! The staff can’t do enough for you and the hotel itself is immaculate and such a calm space out of the hustle and bustle of the city. It’s centrally located and easy to walk to most places. Breakfast and afternoon tea were wonderful. I’ll definitely return.

The location is very convenient, but not absolutely necessarily the best. I would have preferred to pay less in better quality hotel that is further away from Ben Than. The staff were extremely well mannered and polite and wanting to accommodate. If I based my review on the staff alone it would be exceptional, but unfortunately I don’t pay just for good staff; I pay for the room, the bed the breakfast and obviously as well as the service . Only the service was value for money !

Firstly I have to say that I’m amazed at how many good review this hotel has. Is it even possible to have fake reviews? The beds were super uncomfortable, the rooms were tiny for what we paid. Not to mention smelly and dirty… the grout was mouldy . Breakfast was ok. I don’t know what people are raving about ? Afternoon tea… well that was .. I don’t know my husband and I could never got anything to eat none of it looked appealing, the options were limited and when we tasted it, it was bland . Overall it was the most over priced, over rated hotel in ho chi min . And yes I’ve stayed at a few ! I paid $150 per night, I’m currently in an actual 5 star and paying $105, and loving itttttt ! Don’t waste your money! Actually I think there is a way they can scam these reviews. I noticed on my floor there was an office type room with at least 6 Silverland ten staff in there clicking away at their computer, how hard would it be to book pay, review , revenue would go to the hotel regardless, people are attracted to reviews and it’s a win win even if they pay commission to this site . $150 per night !!?? Pffttt I got ripped off hard !

Wonderful food for breakfast - lots of choice. Lovely ‘Tea at 2’ with addition of musicians, which is a really lovely idea. All staff were great, extremely polite and all were good at their jobs.
