Perfect location near Paris, safe place where you can feel France it used to be.

I loved this accommodation - it was the perfect location for cycling as it was more or less on the Donald Hirsch route to Paris that I was towards the end of. I stayed in a lovely gîte with a cosy bedroom and amazing shower. Host Clare was lovely enough to make me some evening food which I ate with them. Beautiful food and lovely company. Breakfast was perfect. Strong coffee and enough food to keep me going to Paris. Thank you x

Nothing except no tea/coffee when I got there which would have been nice after cycling all day but I should have asked and i'm sure she would have helped

- Would have loved fresh baked French croissants and baguettes for breakfast

I stayed at La Ferme Rose when cycling from London to Paris. What a find! The place is unique - a wonderfully atmospheric collection of old farm buildings in a hamlet called Boisemont only 40kms from Notre Dame. My accommodation of a kitchen/dining/sitting room plus 3 sleeping areas (for at least 8 people) on 2 floors was palatial. The welcome from Claire (born in England) and Yvon (a very resourceful Frenchman) was warm and helpful. A very good evening meal could be ordered ahead. The bike was under cover overnight

Nothing really - though a minor comment on the food as I would have liked to have had green vegetables with the main dish and fruit and possibly eggs or a selection of cold meats/cheese with breakfast. Maybe when the house garden is in full production.........?
