Loved the decor! Very clever and tasteful refurbishment made the whole place beautiful and interesting.
The huge gorgeous bathroom and the separate seating area in the dressing room section of our 'Superior King' room made our stay very relaxed and enjoyable. Lots of space, lots of mirrors, lots of plugs in useful places. Great attention to detail regarding the comfort of guests.
Excellent breakfast too.
Very little not to like! It was very hot in the room but that wasn't surprising with the humid heatwave and no wind. The room did have a fan though and that was a godsend.
We were very lucky to have found one of the on-site parking spaces free as there aren't enough for all the rooms.

Everything was amazing from checking in early due to 7hr drive, very well situated for a nice walk down to harbour, Amazing breakfast and both Danny&Dolores are fantastic hosts, 2nd time here but we will be back again next year.

The room had everything I needed, was clean and nicely decorated. A beautiful property. The owners were friendly and helpful and made me feel very welcome. A very good breakfast too.

The property is really well kept and a lot of effort obviously goes into maintaining it. We didn't get chance to try the breakfast as we had to leave early but the owners were good enough to prepare a very generously filled "to-go" bag.

The location to the town centre was very good, the building is beautiful and the decor is in keeping with the grand building. We only had a short stay of 1 night but would definitely stay again. The breakfast was wonderful with local fresh ingredients. Hosts Dolores and Danny were very welcoming and friendly.

The whole place was decorated to a high standard, rooms where very comfortable, breakfast was cooked using top quality products and the owners where very friendly.
We didn't have anything that we didn't like.

Very helpful hosts, lovely spacious room, very comfortable and spotlessly clean. The room upgrade was very much appreciated. Breakfast was locally sourced and exceptionally high quality produce, cooked beautifully.. The location was great, close to the seafront and parking was very much appreciated.
Looking foward to returning in the summer, and enjoying a glass of wine on the terrace.

Car parking but that applies to all accommodation in that area. In fact this property has more spaces than the neighbouring business’. However this is the only negative thing. It wasn’t even a problem for us because we got a space. There are 12 rooms & 8 spaces. However there was free roadside parking along the road.

My Television did not work - could not connect to the Internet.
I took down the fan to use but it was very dirty, cover in dust.

A great central location, beautifully decorated and a delicious breakfast all with the benefit of free parking and a 15 minute walk into town. Fantastic hosts that really do make sure you have the best possible time in Torquay. Get the Cumberland sausage and the scrambled eggs as breakfast if you can, they were fantastic!
The shower was a little weak but did not bother me for an overnight stay.
