the location and facilities

the staff, we were forced to pay a late check by only 2 hours when we booked 3 villas, the staff were unfriendly in how they addressed this request. we requested if we could have late check-out as complimentary during check-in and they told us they will get back to us. we were left with no reply until to discover that they charged us late check-out when we checked out.

Slightly further from Grand Baie but it did not ruin our holiday as we had a rented car.

The house was decent, pretty much like any AirBnB property.

They didn’t give us water beyond the first day of our stay (1 litre). When asked later, they said that it was their policy to not give us water beyond the first day! I’ve never heard of such a weird rule. The reception is closed post 8 PM The customer service person needs to be contacted several times before they respond. The house was not cleaned properly everyday - staff came in and did the dishes and bed sheets. Anything lying on the floor was ignored. Location is also inconveniently located in the middle of nowhere. To buy something as simple as water, the nearest stop is a mall about 2 km away - if you don’t have your own vehicle, good luck walking that narrow lane, especially after sunset. The photos are misleading! They have added pictures of all their villa types in all their room listings. You don’t really know what you’re getting until you’re there. When I pointed out all these flaws to the team, they said, “well we don’t really function as a proper hotel”. As far as excuses go, that’s an extremely weak one.

Very comfortable and private villas. Safe and secured area. Good location.

Staying for 4 nights, we received small shampoo and shower gel bottles only on the first night (?!) The table on the pool area wasn’t cleaned even once during our stay :/ We gave detailed information about our arrival time (on Sunday), but nobody informed us that the reception will be closed and security staff will give us keys - unfortunately also the security guy didn’t know that he has the keys for us …. :/

noisy as next to main road and building work currently ongoing out with the complex on opposite side of road

This is my second visit at Clos du littoral and i can still say that the service is still at its highest.. The team was always available for any questions we had..

everything was so perfect that i have booked the 3 bedroom villa for next week

Beautiful villa, great facilities at the villa, peaceful and good location

Reception staff were lovely but a bit slow on a few things- no one there to meet us at the villa so we had to wait (given flight times) and when trying to get help ordering taxis we had some issues. Really lovely staff just need to polish a few things to make the experience better.
