This is a very special house. It combines characteristics from the original building era (1881 😱) with 1950 furniture and a fully modern and refurbished bathroom as well as all the modern appliances in the kitchen etc. The host is very friendly and helpful. It is in a quiet small village, close (by car) to Bled, Vintgar etc. When you go outside the domain, you've got an astonishing view of the Alps quite close. You have a lovely garden where you can eat at your own table near the house and have a very cosy gazebo with it's own fairy lights.

It's an old house, so there is no airco, but the very thick walls keep the heat out. Do mind your head with the door openings if you're over 1m85 😅 The house is located next to the church, whose bells start tolling from 7am to 10pm. If you're a very light sleeper, you might use earplugs ;)

There was plenty of room for a group of 7 individuals (i.e. not in a partnership) to both relax as a group and / or individuals. The kitchen had lots of crockery so only had to put dishwasher on at bedtime!

Very special house - more like a little mansion from 1614. Huge bedrooms, old wooden furniture, very unique feel to it. I loved it. It depends on the person.. if you look for a modern place, then it might not be for you. The showers and restrooms are all fully renovated beautifully (2.5 bath! Great for families). There’s also a huge yard with place to BBQ, relax and for the kids to run around. Next door is a great Mexican restaurant. The host and her family are absolutely lovely and welcoming with plenty of good tips. Location is good as close to bakery, coffee place, few supermarkets and even a bar at the next door hostel.

There’s a church across the street that rings it’s bells quite a lot, starting at 7am. If you like to sleep late it might be an issue..

The location was fantastic. The house was near to Bled-about 10 minuets by car and 30 minutes from Ljubljana.

The house is old-fashion: the furnitures was old, the smell wasn’t good (it smelled like old wood), there weren’t nets in all the windows, and many insects enter the house. There was a church across the street (30 meters), and it start to belle in 7AM for every 15 minuets.It was very noisy. In the beginning of our staying there weren’t enough hot water to shower.
