The owners Jennell and Leo were the perfect host and made us very welcome, the property was well presented and the rooms spacious and Leo was a great chef.

The location was beautiful, and the owner's such nice people, and very welcoming, we enjoyed the breakfast and dinner. Great stay and would stay again :)

The owners were nice and greeted us on arrival . My only issues were the ' no food ' in the rooms ( having kids and my partner works away so it's rare we get to lay in bed or just sit uninterrupted and eat my food when it's hot, so to of had room service would of made it more valuable for us ) and the name retreat gives U a sense of privacy away from other people but I feel this place and people are very social and wanted group dinners and breakfast were as I am constantly dealing with people in my job and would of loved it to feel more private and secluded or made to feel like we were trustworthy adults because i would of loved breakfast in bed but no food in room ????? Strange .. . There were no lounges to sit on but there was a round wooden table and 2 X chairs but a nice little lounge would of made it feel more luxurious and also gives U an area to sit and relax and for the price I was expecting alot more . The little touches were really nice like the toothbrush pack , the shower / bath products , beautiful towels and robe to compliment the spa ( which fit us both and was nice and deep ) apon or departure the owners greeted us again and walked us out and thanked us for our stay then proceeded to tell me I could of gotten it cheaper booking directly through them not on line , then said how she will ring her customers and let them know and refund and rebook so they get the discount but didn't offer me a refund or discount ?? She was really friendly though and I don't think he's realises what she said but I believe she was trying to be kind and have a chat. It feels very welcoming and very comfortable if U want to b involved or like making that connection which unfortunately for us , we wanted the opposite but they are not mind readers and we never told them that's what we wanted and the owners are beautiful people and I couldn't b rude to them as I have manners and they really want to b friendly .

We had the most brilliant stay at Ana Mandara. Jenelle and Leo have the most amazingly beautiful property and they are the consummate hosts. Long costal walks, relaxing on near-deserted beaches, first time surfing for one of the oldies, amazing food cooked by chef Leo, and a visit to the Koala hospital! Cannot recommend it highly enough.
