The property was ideally located, in the very downtown. We could sense the breath of history ascending the circular, narrow ladder and looking over the city’s rooftops.

the beds were very comfort table and it was clean! perfect for a family with 4 kids

water leaked in the bathroom which is not a problem but would have just been nice to be aware of.

Perfect location in absolute center of town.

Use of bathroom is challenging (head space, 2-handle mixer, etc.). I had to fix the shower before being able to use it. Unfortunately only Velux roof windows, so the apartment feels like a very confined space (no view or balcony).

Please add a ventilator, as for hot summer days it is hot in the appart.

The apartment is quite unique - perfectly situated in the rooftops at the centre of the medieval city of Annecy, We walked out into the Christmas market and enjoyed the traditional Sunday market as well. Once we had dropped off our luggage, parking in the Hotel de Ville was convenient, secure and reasonably priced. We did not cook but the kitchen looked well equipped. The bed linen and towels were great.

The sofa bed in the lounge was described by my daughter as the "worst nights sleep she had ever had". This would not be a comfortable night for a couple. The main double bedroom and upstairs double bed were fine. There are a number of low beams at head height and floor level which you have to step over or duck under, these add character but might be a challenge if you are less mobile or taller than average. We struggled to park the car near the apartment to drop off our luggage. The four flights of medieval spiral staircase were a challenge with luggage from a ski trip.
