A very well equipped flat loads of pans etc, the bed was VERY comfortable. A problem with the shower was fixed immediately and the hosts always responded quickly.

My only issue would be the slightly misleading name of the apartment which is on the street furthest away from the beach, about a 15 min walk for us. We found the barking of dogs on nearby balconies in the area to be very disturbing but it wasn't an issue at night, the bedrooms are at the rear where it is quiet. Monte Gordo area has a problem with dog mess on the sidewalks, not anything the hosts can do about that though.

The apartment is furnished in a rather modern practical Ikea style. The quality of the furniture is good. The Wi-Fi was very good (38 Mbps). The kitchen was well equipped. There is a nice terrace. There was an elevator. Plenty of parking space around. At night it was quiet.

I did not like the way the deposit of 150 Euro was handled. In my opinion it is not correct that no receipt was given at the time of the payment and there should have been an inspection at the time of departing. (In the end I did receive the money back correctly, I just did not feel comfortable with the procedure.) This, in combination with the house rules that I perceived as rather silly made me feel more like an intruder than a client, let alone a guest. The name Beach House does not seem very pertinent. The beach is nowhere to be seen (900m walking). In fact the location is in a suburb of Monte Gordo in an area with a couple of flat buildings (This is why it is rather quiet at night). But unfortunately many of the residents in this area have a dog that they park on their balcony at day time. At some times there is some sort of a barking concert...... When you walk around dogs may bark at you from every balcony.

Excellent hosts and the cleanliness of the property. It was immaculate and beautifully designed.
