Room and grouunds were great and staff at the front desk and pool were friendly.

The food and staff in the dining room were average.

We loved the location, especially the view and surroundings. Great food, including breakfast and dinner.

Room and bathroom were a bit small, but it didn't bother us that much.

Everything- the setting was stunning, the hotel is beautifully decorated, the staff were friendly and accommodating, great breakfast and lovely pool and spa area. it was very good value for money too.

room on parking lot - small, 140usd TV set… booked dinner for 8:30pm. hotel screwed up and had no table for us. that can happen. ok… but then offer us a Spritz while we wait for 45min… instead they left us out there with nothing, no alternative, no drink. no apologies (even though they did have our name on the reservation list…)…. crazy lack of professionalism from the Staff and restaurant manager himself. 3 star at most. we had dinner outside the hotel in a nice restaurant, with a friendly staff…

For me this is a place that try to mouch but dont reach all the way. Breakfast was not bad but very slow. Food did not arrive at the same time. They could have made it a bit simpler but better instead they try to mouch but dont reach all the way. Thats the same with the hotel in general. Nice big room, amazing view and nice furnitures. But it felt like they just put them in the room without thinking. I think that they could have just made it a bit simpler but do it good instead of trying to hard and dont reach all the way. So my complains are on a high level. Its a great house on a good location.

We had booked the hotel as a luxury get away from Denmark and the hotel lived up to that. The staff at the reception was very helpful in generel and for example assisted in getting dinner reservations at other restaurants.

Unfortunately, a British family with very loud little kids was in a room over us and they were loud. That was annoying since the hotel was fully booked and so the staff couldnt move us to another room that mathed our booked room. The rest of the small kids at the hotel - and there were quite many - were well behaved, so we just had bad luck. But still we don't expect rowdy kids at a place like this - quite annoying

The lounge area very nice to chill in the evening and have a drink. The view from our room was magnificent towards the mountains!

A long cue of people in the morning waiting for the waiter behind the table choosing the food on your behalf due to Covid restrictions (improvements needed!) Average breakfast for food choice. Noting Italian and nothing special. The service was appalling. Waiting over 45 minutes both days for coffee. Eggs were always wrong and toast was either burnt or cold. Absolute chaos.

The hotel was elegant and the staff were very well trained. They were attentive but not too much. The location is amazing, great views. The hotel itself is beautifully decorated and clean. Everything works well. Breakfast was very good, the covid situation prevented a buffet and somehow that changed the feel, asking and pointing a buffet plates is not the same at all. If you are going to stop the people helping themselves, then change the style of breakfast to suit the new method of delivery.

We paid for a good room and were a little disappointed with the size. I'm sure it matched the size stated but somehow it felt small and a bit cramped. There was a kettle but no tea/coffee or milk. We asked and were offered tea but it should be in the room with the kettle. The restaurant was given a good review and the food is good, as is the service. But it wasn't that good, we had similar food most nights on other restaurants, in less amazing settings and with less choice of wines and with less service but for a fraction of the price. It wasn't the 'blown away' experience I was expecting.

The location is smack in the middle between Barolo and Barbaresco, so main sights and restaurants are 20-30 minutes away. But I would recommend to stay in one of the two to get more of the feel and panoramic views of the typical and very beautiful Langhe scenery. Personnel was always very friendly, but during breakfast everyone seemed to run around like crazy and we had the impression that things could be managed better. Room was clean.

Only one time we had the opportunity to have breakfast outside, as the terrace was almost always full. Having the breakfast inside is not relaxing due to the noise. But it's not that we missed that much, because you don't have a panoramic view or anything like that when you have the breakfast outside. The dinner restaurant (Cit Dama) was way over-priced. The mattress in our room was sagging a lot. The WiFi was extremely slow or no connection at all, totally unusable. The wellness area was not relaxing or enjoyable at all (dirt in the jacuzzi, overal creepy design, no chance to have a cup of tea, only tap water). No view from the pool area, you look at just one piece of vineyard, no view into the distance. In general it seems the relais has had its day.

The location is beautiful in general.

The promised panoramic view is not so great through a small window with a fly screen, and a tree in front. When we arrived we had 4 bugs in the room and on the bed, mainly earwigs. The laconic answer of the receptionist was that we are on the landscape, where this is normal.

The hotel was a beautiful Villa with stunning views and lovely pool. Lovely staff and a wonderful Restaurant. I would definitely go back.
