It was quiet

Very hard to get to. They claim a shuttle but unless you know the precise time you’re arriving we could not connect. The mainline taxis at the airport would only take us if we were going into Rome. A taxi driver said she would take us for 40 Euro when we said no, she said ok 30 Euro. We were exhausted so took it. The hotel was 10 minutes away. The room is very basic. One wooden table, one chair, one bed.

You had privacy, it was clear. If had a front and back balcony.

Cleanliness

The bed was old and not comfortable. There was no fridge,no microwave like we see in American hotels

Very unusual the reception is in the old building across the street from the new "apartment block. The room was excellent withe the best bathroom for the entire trip and its own sitting room.

The neighborhood is not the best but has a number of restaurants all within walking distance, Would give the Best Western restaurant a miss staff disinterested and the food not great.

Found a used bandaid on the floor. Shower post holding the shower head was rusted and broken. There were mosquitos in the room which were annoying. My daughter's room smelled like smoke which was not the hotel's fault because it is a non-smoking room, but they moved my daughter and her friend to another room that was extremely hot throughout the night. Finally, we were told by the hotel that the shuttle to the airport would be 20€, but once we reached the airport we were charged 30€. I asked the hotel to reimburse me for the difference in the price and they said that it was a third party shuttle service even though the hotel set it up and they would not stand behind their quote.

This Hotel is very convenient to the Rome Airport FCO. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel was on the edge of town and it was a reasonably short work to some very nice inexpensive restaurants. The room interior was quite dated but very clean.

The room was very small and unfortunately like most Italian hotels they did not have fly screens on the windows which meant that I could not open the window at night due to mosquitoes. The hotel also did not have any indoor common areas that would have been nice considering the room was so small. In addition to this there is no elevator in the building which meant lugging luggage up 1 or 2 flights. Having said this the guy in the reception did offer to carry my luggage up the stairs.
