The owners Martin and Elaine were very friendly, attentive, easy going, very nice and relaxed easy to talk to, we were welcomed in with a pot of tea straight away which was lovely. They helped by giving suggestions where to eat and places to go and explore, how to get to our friends, all round very lovely couple. The hotel was immaculately clean and smelt so fresh, the nice smell of breakfast in the morning was delicious. The décor is absolutely amazing and so beautifully maintained too. Lovely views and very peaceful. The room was a very decent size double room with an equally very decently sized ensuite with a walk in shower all beautifully designed and had everything we needed, we were asked if we required anything more which was also so nice and thoughtful. Breakfast was absolutely delicious and had a great choice from the cooked menu and the continental breakfast menu too. Will definitely stay again 100%

The property was beautiful and everything was very quirky and unique. immaculately cleaned and furnished. We had the pent house and it was lovely. Brilliant location and it was good to leave the car parked up all weekend. Lovely couple who run it also.

Martyn and Elaine were very welcoming and had plenty of good recommendations for places to eat and visit. We were within easy reach of seafront, marina, cafes, pubs and restaurants. Really enjoyed our stay & would definitely recommend.

This is a charming property and not only has it got kerb appeal but its also great inside. Our room was on the ground floor (which was lovely and cool, especially in the middle of the heatwave). We had everything we needed and the bed was incredibly comfy. The hosts are welcoming, friendly and helpful.

Beautiful Boutique hotel with a unique design. The hosts were very friendly and helpful they showed us the best places to visit in Torquay. The location of the hotel was very close to the English Riviera. Many options for breakfast including vegetarian. It was very pleasant to stay there.

What a lovely couple, very helpful and gave lots of suggestions on what to do during our stay. And the best fluffy toast in Devon 😁 they even made the sun shine for us on the last 2 days

Lovely room, great location,great breakfast, our room ( India suite ) was particularly nice & had a lounge too, nice touch .! Elaine and Martin were great hosts,A very nice bed& breakfast with a well stocked bar ! Comfortable large bed, snd lovely pillows , we would stay here again x

Only one thing , but not a complaint , the Saniflow loo in our bathroom had a bit of a smell , probably just needed a service that’s all , but wouldn’t put me off having his room again x
