Beautiful hotel
Facilities. We only chose this Hotel for the pool. Rushed to get there for a swim to be told they had closed early no early -no apology or explanation. Room Service was not available, food at the bar was only available for cold plates of which they only has 2 items not suitable for a child.

Wash basin in bathroom is too small and awkward for wet shaving.

I loved the room, it was clean, spacious and had everything you could need for a short stay. The toilet and shower were adequate and clean. The bed was comfy and pleasant to sleep in. I only stayed one night but would definitely think about coming here again.
The only thing I didn't like was the location of the hotel itself, it was quite a distance from the coach station and with the building work going on it wasn't the easiest place to get to. Another thing I wasn't fond of was the location of my room, it was a bit of a walk to get to, but it was easy to find.

The place was very clean, housekeeping was very good and very present every day and anytime when needed. Location was very good and close to public transport. I loved that they had drinking water in the corridor on my floor.
The door that lead to my floor was often jammed and sometimes took a while to open. Perhaps keeping that door unlocked would have been helpful.

Room was neat,had a kettle with biscuits and some tea bags waiting for me, bathroom was nice and cute,and the TV station was cool as well.
It was difficult getting to my room. It was like I was in a maze hunt or something.
Plus the check in time was bit late for me, I shld be able to get into my room when I arrive at a hotel that I have booked online.

this hotel is part of Aston University. it wasn’t made clear to me before I thought that the swimming pool was not part of the hotel; 18 V, a five minute walk outside

The location was good because I had a gig that side of the city.
It's an easy enough walk from the stations too.
The location is right in the heart of the Aston campus, which is lovely these days
The rooms were basic, but comfortable and the shower really excellent.
Breakfast was pricey but with lots of choices.
Rooms had a uni halls/conference feel, absolutely fit for purpose, but not perhaps for a holiday.
