Each bed had its own set and curtain. The location is great

It was very clean, I ofcourse liked the kitchen with an amazing view. The beds were good with your own place to lock your stuff underneed. The curtains are very nice it makes you feel that your sleeping in your own room.

The lounge room was really nice but hard to find.

Very well managed hostel with friendly and knowledgeable staff. I liked the free coffee in their spotlessly clean kitchen.

Amazing location, right by the lake! Loved having my breakfast in the pantry with the great view. The rooms look and feel new, beds were clean and comfy with full privacy curtains and your own wall lamp. Bathrooms were clean with routine checks and cleaning by the staff. Luggage storage available.

The kitchen counters and sink were nasty - but that's solely due to guests that don't clean up

the basin had a clear glass shelf not far above the sink which looked nice but was hard to get your head under to brush teeth needed to be put somewhere else as my partner hit his head on it while brushing teeth

I booked the four dorm bedroom with bathroom. The room space is big and with refrigerator. The bathroom is clean. House keeping clean up every day. Convienent location. Kitchen is also great with awesome lake view.

I lived at first floor and close to the bar and restaurants, so very noise at night even the window is close. May be is Halloween and ppl have fun a lot.

Perfect location, right in the heart of Queenstown. 2nd time staying here and it was just as great. Value for money, friendly staff and with amazing views too! Room is small but everything you need especially as we spent most of our time out of the room. Even had a kettle, microwave and fridge. Plus a full kitchen upstairs if needed. Can't beat the location and value for money in Queenstown.

Only negative and its a small one, the double room gets super bright in the morning. Provides a great alarm clock at least!

Location was stunning right on the lake waterfront and walking distance to everything in town. Bus stop to airport and other places less than 5 minutes walk. Spacious kitchen area. Reception Staff very helpful

6 persons Room a bit small and if there are 6 persons moving around, it will get very cramped. Bathroom sink also very small, water gets splashed out when you use it.

Super central and convenient location. Beds were ok. Didn't use any of the other hostel facilities.

The noisy bathroom fan - but luckily that was turned off at 10pm or so. So all good - no real complaint. Fortunately there weren't any major parties going on outside.

Soundproofing wasn't great - lots of noise from both outside and neighbouring rooms

Hostel was in a super convenient location and we could walk everywhere. Kitchen was great with everything we needed. Was fun staying with friends in one room.

The first room we stayed in 1/5 of the beds didn't have very clean sheets. When we changed to another room later on the bathroom hadn't been cleaned and the shower had other peoples products and hair in it. The noise outside was also pretty loud during late at night so we had to use earplugs. While in our second room we had extremely noisy and inconsiderate neighbours.

Loved the kitchen. The view is great, was well equipped and modern. Our private room was basic and did the job. About what you would expect for the price. We had bad luck with the lift when vacating...it failed so we had to manhandle our big bags down 3 flights of stairs. We guess that guests had overloaded it during the night, we left early so managrment had no chance to fix it. We recommend this place. Great location.... right at the centre of everything, well run and clean.

Having to check out and check back in. Moving luggage around when you have winter gear is a challenge.

My siblings and I absolutely enjoyed everything about Absoloot Hostel

Maybe open windows for the rooms with multiple bunk beds. Our room was the 6 bed room, definately loved it however needed fresh air to ventilate the room
