it was a good value for the money, good location - well connected to the city transportation, receptionists were very helpful (Elsa was amazing), got every information that i asked, kitchen is good, internet is fast, hot water 24/7 etc. really for how much you pay you get double value

room was a little dusty (the top bunk bed) and my bathroom was outside my room (it was a private bathroom for the room but you still had to go out) - but not that big of a problem

the staff is very kind, friendly, helpful! good location, near the beach, many bars, pubs, etc...

Everything was great, maybe the kitchen utensils (pan) could be in better condition.

Easy to get to from airport. Bus stops to various cities are only about 5 min walk. Short bus ride to Valletta. Super fast wifi. Each room had own bathroom, though might not be across from room. knowledgeable staff of area. Great shower water pressure. Each bed had own locker and key was provided. Kitchen had all equipment to cook and could use 24/7

The staff did not explain where the switches were to turn lights on for common area and kitchen.

As a woman, who has traveled across the world and stayed in many hostels, I strongly suggest avoiding this hostel. Upon arrival in the evening, there was no one at the welcome desk. Though it’s clear there are many cameras, another guest quickly informed us that no one actually monitors them. While making dinner in the kitchen, we made polite conversation with one of the male guests. Though he was not cooking, he stayed there for 45 minutes placing himself uncomfortably close to us, interrupting our conversations. Another male guest arrived and struck up conversation. He made various comments about our looks, our bodies and weights, all of which we did our best to discourage. Other men came in and out of the space, at one point becoming almost claustrophobic. We continuously tried to cut off these unsettling dialogues and eat our dinner, but with no luck. The first male guest then mentioned that he had been watching my movements earlier, he had seen where I had gone and followed. The second made a joke, “misunderstanding me”, saying I was an expert in cunts and assholes. At this point my sister and I felt unsafe and, knowing that these guests would be present in the hostel for the entire duration of our stay, considered leaving. We discussed with the receptionist the next day. She asked us to name the guests, which I did not want to do as it could leave to increased hostility and aggression. She told us she could not do anything else for us and if we wanted to leave, we would not be refunded. We asked if we could speak with the owner who called shortly after. He told me I was not “entitled” to a refund, that he had no control over what happened in the hostel e.g. other guests’ behavior. He said if we went to a club and were harassed, we would not ask for a refund, just simply leave. He told me if I in fact had traveled as extensively as I claimed, and stayed in so many hostels, I should well know then to “keep my distance” and modify my behavior

The Turkish lady (Rossi?) at reception she is really good, very friendly and welcoming, right person for the right position!

The location is great. Just a short stroll away from bars and restaurants and the water. The common areas are big and the hostel is well equipped.

Close to a road that gets really loud early in the morning. We woke up early every morning (apart from Sunday) despite being on the second floor. The bathroom 100% needs refurbishing.

Nice common areas. Big and useful rooftop, they could make a better use of it.

It was a bit cold and no heating available. Towels were not free.

Great personel and good location. Fully equipped kitchen and cozy living room. Bus stop is very close to the hostel, also the prommenade. Sliema is great location to stay during exploring Malta island.

Room was a bit small and the windows were not tighty. When was raining a lot, our bags next to window were wet..

Very friendly staff. Good localisation in a quiet neighborhood. Malta is awesome and people are great!

Mould under the shower. Fan on the ceiling making terrible noise making it impossible to use. No towels included in the price. (2 towels 8E) UK plug adapter rental cost same a a new one in a store. (2 plugs 8E).
