Staff accogliente, pulizia ottima e un ottima posizione al centro

It was a extremely reasonable priced Riad. We just wanted somewhere in the Medina for a cheap break. The room was spacious and was lovely and cool, there was also ample seating areas around the Riad to relax out of the heat. The breakfast was served on the roof terrace and set you up for the day. It was also a dream to have a massage on the premises. I would go back again!
4.5
Good location, it is busy outside but an oasis of calm inside the walls of the riad. It is beautify presented and clean.
Some staff were a bit surly but generally very accommodating. It is a bit of a maze to get to your room but this add to the charm of the property. It was described as having a pool but in reality it is a nice pond.

Una colazione ricca e diversa ogni giorno. Consiglio la cucina del riad, il miglior tajine mangiato a Marrakech
4.5
Authentic Riad in a very good location on the fringe of the Medina. Welcome and staff were excellent, nothing too much trouble. Breakfast was very good, lots of choice and filling. The room was traditional (as expected) but a little on the small side. The roof top seating and sunbed area was a big bonus, helping relaxation after a busy day. If you want a real riad experience this is an excellent choice and good value for money.
Bedroom a little small; a lot of stairs in the property so people with walking difficulties beware.

Eten was erg goed. Lekkere massage en hammam.
Geen minpunten. Alles was goed.

The Riad is located at a central location, we could find everything nearby and Imad went above and beyond to make sure we feel comfortable during our stay. We liked the decoration of the riad, with the indoor plants and the little pool as well as a huge terrace with views.
Our room was nice, but we felt it was a little small for its price. It was clean and tidy but we think it could have been slightly larger for the price we paid.

The place was very nice and breakfast and staff were great

Riad le Coque Berbere is a fantastic property, furnished with local art and culture. It is in a good location, right next to the souks and a 10 min walk from Jemaa Al Fnaa Square.

In the middle of everything.
Nothing.

property was beautiful and staff are amazing, polite and so helpful.
4.5
The location is really great and convening to explore the medina area
The rooftop is very pleasant and spacious
The breakfast was very nice
The staff - Abdul, Leila, Fatima, Nadia and the other ladies - is absolutely amazing and they were truly warm and accommodating also with our 2 year old -- we were just not so satisfied with the manager, Bachir
The massages were good, reasonably priced and convenient located at the riad
The shower: it lacks a door and it was not so easy for us to estabilize the temperature
The transfer from the airport was convenient, as there is someone waiting for you and who also shows you the exact locations of the riad from the beginning, but it is a bit overpriced if compared to the taxis (the airport is 7km away)
The manager, Bachir, was unfortunately not transparent on most of our interactions (including expenses/dinner, etc), he is probably doing a good administrative job and he speaks Italian, which is a plus in this riad, but the hospitality part should be handled by the great Abdul

The Riad is beautiful: lots of greenery, charming courtyards and a very neat decoration. Located in the heart of the Medina, it is nevertheless very quiet and peaceful, an oasis in the tumult of Marrakech. The breakfast is very good, served on beautiful terraces. Very varied common spaces, each with its charm. To highlight: the efficiency and kindness of the manager Bachir and his collaborators Imad and Abdul, who solved all our needs. They were able to help us to carry our luggage and cabs to transport us when necessary. They also allowed us to leave some luggage during our expedition to the desert, after which we returned to stay at the Riad. I can't imagine a better place to stay in Marrakech.

it felt like home from home, very welcoming and safe.
nothing. everything was very charming and very well organised

Our room was amazing - large and well-decorated. The balcony was a lovely place to sit and enjoy the outdoors, although not as nice when people were smoking. The location was great inside the medina. Being tucked away from the main thoroughfare meant it was very quiet at night. We loved having the en suite bathroom.
They seemed to be short-staffed so any time we needed something - breakfast, check in, check out, help getting a porter, we often had to wait a while. It was a little difficult to find.

short walk to the market square
second building entry is a little sketchy looking but it’s actually safe.

Le Coq Berbère is not just an oasis of calm in bustling Marrakesh, which I assume all riads are. What makes this one special is first that its two connected patios offer endless cosy corner opportunities to spend time relaxing in a calming environment, from the warm rooftop terrace to the many intermediate level terraces (there are 8 levels of terrace I kid you not), so if you feel the city gets a bit much, just a day here, with perhaps a hammam/massage, is just grand. Second, the rooms and whole riad are very tastefully decorated, which also increases the suitability for just staying in your room or a terrace. Third, the staff are super friendly and helpful. Like so many in Marrakesh, I fell ill with a stomach/intestinal bug, and the helpfulness of the staff was simply amazing. In short, this is not just a great place to spend the night, this is a place worth spending time in in its own right.
Can't really think of a single negative point to this place, and I've stayed in many hotels all over the globe.

The location was perfect. Breakfast was excellent and the staff was very nice. Overall excellent stay.
The small road that leads to the entrance of the property has rubish on the ground most of the time. This gives a poor impression. Should be changed.
4.5
It was awesome to stay in the Medina and that we didn’t have to take a long walk to catch a ride outside of it.
Breakfast is very generous and made by a local with freshly squeezed orange juice. Awesome coffee as well.
Staff was attentive and pleasant.
Room lay out with the bathroom in between both sleeping rooms. You’d have to lock both doors to each room to be able to use the bathroom. It’s a riad so I guess there’s not much that can be done to modify this. Not a deal breaker though.

The staff were all so friendly, the location was great, roof top terrace was fab.. Lovely touches throughout the property. Great value for money
Beds are quite hard.
First breakfast was amazing, omelets, french stick bread, pancakes, fresh fruit, yogurts, next 2 breakfast were not quite the same, had to wait for 1/2 hr, no pancakes, omelets or fresh bread were delivered, had to ask for tea & coffee. That was a little disappointing

The exceptionally friendly staff. The lovely rooftop sitting area.

Location, Ambiance
A few maintenance issues that need to
be addressed: ac didn’t work, shower didn’t drain.

Absolutely beautiful oasis in the middle of the hustle and bustle of Marrakech. Beautiful calm rooftop, lovely breakfast, and helpful staff. We also had a hammam and massage during our staff which was lovely!

The stuff was very nice, always with a smile on their face. The room was clean and tidy at arrival.
There was a heavy rain at one of our days and the water came into the room. The shower drains super slow.

Very centrally located. Beautiful architecture. Great facility. Very friendly staff
You have to like the style. Otherwise, the interior could be stifling.

Super well located lovely staff, quiet, great breakfast every morning on the rooftop. lots of great spaces all across the Riad to relax. Lovely decor, not overdone, relaxed but stylish. very good value.

The riad is a beautiful place directly in the middle of the medina with a nice roof terrace. There are lots of cozy seating areas within the riad. As soon as you enter it you completely forget the turbulence souk activities and are able to relax completely. The staff is very helpful. From there you can visit all the places in the medina on foot.
