Very charming and a great location. It’s right along the river so you can easily walk along the River with food and drink vendors along the way.

The beds were very firm.

I booked Sala Prabang for its location along Mekong river bank not far from the main street. My room with a riverview balcony fits the criteria. The open-air lobby lounge at the main building gives an extra space to relax if you don’t want to go out. Breakfast is served at the riverside terrace across the hotel. There were plenty of choices: rice soup, egg and sausage, yogurt, bread, juice and coffee.

If the hotel room had a door chain lock, it could provided a safer feeling. Luang Prabang is a very safe town though.

1 of the room, the socket for phone charge wasnt working. (Both spot : in the bahtroom and bed side) But that's the only thing. We love the place anyway.

slightly odd to be walked up the road to another hotel on arrival ….. they should have let us know n advance we we staying at a “ partner “ hotel . breakfast was a lottery… first day omelet and waffles available…. day two just omelet…. day 3 “ oh you could have had a waffle if you’d asked 🥴 …. like so many hotels out there right now post Covid they looked like they were struggling for staff …

Great breakfast location overlooking the Mekong river but very limited choice of food.

Not the fault of the hotel but a noisy location which was not made clear in the description. Rooms were acceptable but almost zero clothes storage space

Customer service was exceptional there was nothing to much trouble for the staff especially at the reception.

The restaurant in front of the hotel is very noisy. They’ve Karaoke until 2 am.

the location is good and close proximity to temples, cafeterias and local restaurants by the Mekong river.

cleanliness - the toilet bowl was stained. can’t be removed. comfort - bed is stiff and rigid. not suitable for children or those with back problems. staff - could be friendlier - quite aloof compared to the excellent engagement and service from local staff to the other hotels we have been in Laos - felt at Times not welcomed. sound - proximity to road - noisy at night, with bikes and rooms are not soundproof so you can hear the symphony of snores from the neighbour we had a child - so this is more for folks on gap trip rather than families especially with young children or like to have a good night sleep

Tasty but limited.

Lovely hotel and nicely situated on the river and close to town. It definitely feels like part of a heritage town. Cute and delicious cafes nearby. The team helped with getting Motos and tuktuks as necessary. Room was comfortable and quiet. The room has a little private balcony just for you.

The bathroom was a bit dated. As of October 1 2022 the room doesn't include breakfast as the kitchen isn't open yet.

good location and good bed

Bad shower. A bit noisy because my room had two windows facing the internal part of the hotel (there was a guest always speaking in front of my window during the day). Although it has 2 windows, the room has almost no lights. The hotel does not offer simple things that help a lot, such as laundry and breakfast.

Very big and comfortable room, which comes with a balcony. The a/c was superb which was a lifesaver on the really hot days. The receptionist was very helpful in helping me receive my train tickets and arranging transport to the waterfall and train station.

There was no breakfast available, although that wasnt a problem as there were many places to eat around the hotel, both local and western fares.

The toilet needs to be upgrade, grouting and facet set. The room needs more Modern Lamp Shade- to look more contemporary modern.

-The room is next to road (some noisy at night)
