Beautiful location next to the lake. Very good dinner served at the front courtyard. We stayed in the new wing. The room is big and modern with good views from balcony. There is a private access to the lake.
The fridge in the room was not working and I have to drink a warm coke from mini bar. The dinner table was set in the lovely front yard but have to take into consideration of the sun glares strongly in summer even at dinner time. For the price it charged, the breakfast was disappointing. We can have eggs cooked to order but it was not mentioned from the waitress.

Location is great if you come by car or use bicycle all the time. Otherwise you have to walk along the lake for 20 minutes to get bus or 50 to get to Zell am See. But the walk is pleasant anyways

Food in the restaurant was also top notch.
Room was a little dated, if we’re lucky enough to return, I would probably book a room in the new Panorama building located right next to the original hotel.

The place is - wow! Beautiful location, wonderful facilities, great hosts, exceptional architecture! Although the hotel is not right on the lakeside - it has its own beach with private access for guests - 3 min walking distance. The hotel is on the opposite side of the lake from the town of Zell am See - close enough to drive to downtown and far enough away from its crowds.
I am writing this with great regret because I think it is a remarkable place, combining the traditional with the modern but I totally cannot understand why there is no air conditioning in the rooms. We were just there at a time when the temperatures were over 30 degrees Celsius and it was impossible to sleep in the rooms because of the heat. Even if there are only a few such hot days a year in the Alps (and there will probably be more and more) I would expect air conditioning in the room with such a high standard.

Amazing place to stay in that area. Much more that we expected in this price tag. Practically personal lake beach; house located away from city, but yet in close range; great starting point for bicycle trips; short ride to cable cars and hikes

This hotel was just perfect for my last two days exploring Austria. the staff were so welcoming, the room spotless and spacious, and evening meals served on the terrace overlooking the lake were wonderful.

Location was excellent. Very peaceful, away from all the buzz. Their own private pier on the lake was the highlight. Overall a good experience!!

Everything was really great, nice, comfy and silent rooms, excellent location, good breakfast. We went to dinner at Erlhof restaurant, and that was nice experience as well.
English menu in restaurant would be nice for travellers, but Google translate did the job for us.
