Wir wurden sehr herzlich begrüßt. Toll für alle, die diesen englischen, viktorianischen Stil mögen.
Das Frühstück war großartig , im einer schönen Atmosphäre und mit einem sensationellem Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Wenige Minuten zu Fuß in die Stadt.

Els únics “problemes” que hi hem trobat és el poc parking que tenen i la localotzació (queda una mica apartat de tot)… però relament són detalls en comparació amb tot lo bò que té 😍😍😍

This place is a gem, room retro with a bakealite working phone and working gramophone with LPs. Breakfast was a delight and quickly presented. Location for train was 200 yards downhill. I'm 68 and was trundling my two heavy cases easily to the train! Would very much recommend this little gem to anyone.!

We were surprised to find that the Telstar is in an old house - and has been going for years! It was homely, clean and comfortable and the breakfast was generous and delicious.
The Hotel is quite close to the station but requires a walk up a steep hill to get there. It is also a fair (but pleasant) walk to the University, if one is visiting there.

The staff were great, very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble whether that be ordering something different off the breakfast menu or moving someone else's car when we were blocked in.
The Telstar has a great and unique 3 twin bed room which was ideal for our group.
Location is only 15 minutes walk to the centre but that's more for information purposes than any gripe!

Location was great, staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and comfortable we had everything we needed. Breakfast choices were good and had plenty. Decor is a little old fashioned but all clean and comfortable.

All rooms are different here, but the room and bath were very small. However, there was a balcony with a great view which made a huge difference in how the room felt. The bed was comfortable and there was also a very sweet little courtyard.
They can’t help this, but it was small. Well done, but compact.

The welcome was great. We were given immediately local touristic information by the person at the reception desk.
The breakfast is good. The breakfast service quality is variable but it was great on the second morning. The decoration of the bedroom is good.
The car access to the parking lot is narrow and curvy. The hotel is located further away to the city centre than we thought when we booked (it's a good 15 minutes by foot from the cathedral). The bedroom we occupied was a bit small, especially the shower.

Good value for money. Excellent vegetarian breakfast! Tight but cosy car park. Great to be able to park off the street, despite the limited car spaces. I was lucky there were to available for me on a Sunday :) But forget all that, it was the people working in the place that made a difference.

Location was excellent as was the free parking. Breakfast was outstanding, so much choice and really delicious.
Liked it all. Decor a bit dated in bedroom and the bathroom was a bit on the small side but it didn't bother us, very comfortable and clean.
