Facilities were excellent, but there are almost always possibilities for improvement, e.g. not only a shower but also a bath and a bidet.

Comfortable, clean and spacious. It has everything you might need. Friendly host and good breakfast. Good location just outside Zuidwolde.

The room was spacious and everything needed was there. Upstairs there was a little fence to prevent a child from falling from the stairs. The breakfast was nice and tasty (bread rolls from the oven) and there was plenty of choice to make your own tea/coffee/hot chocolate. The garden was big and featured a pony and rabbits, which was interesting for my small daughter. The owner was waiting to welcome us outside of the regular check-in hours. Parking a car was easy. In short: decent place for a short stay.

The room was a bit too cold (mid-October) and quite dark despite a few lamps. It had a nice electrical heater but because the room had a high roof the room stayed longer cool. It would be nice if it was pre-heated before our arrival. The doors of the shower were easily falling out. The sink had separate hot and cold water. There was no key to lock the inside doors (noone from outside could enter but owners could). In the night I could hear a dog whining (not barking) for some time. Also, there were few mosquitos inside despite mid-October.

the house is exceptionally beautiful, you feel like this cozy wood house in the middle of a forest. the hosts are so kind and helpful, they provided our kids with some toys and they offered to feed the pony together, that was a very nice experience for the kids. the house reception has a well equipped coffee corner, with tea, cacao and cappuccino pads! the breakfast was so nicely done, the host had made us homemade juice everyday, with eggs , cheese and lots of additions like butter, honey, homemade jam, Jogurt, and chocolate bread for the kids. It was really very nice that they think of our kids in every detail they do!! the farm behind the house is a great playground for the kids, you can find a Trampolin, football playground, a pony, a roaming funny chicken, and apple trees. for us as parents, nothing was more relaxing than a cup of coffee early made and drank outside in the terrace before sunrise.
