Great location, lovely cottage with lots of amenities. Easy walking distance from shops/pubs/cafés, parking directly outside cottage, dog friendly, sweet little garden.
The lights in the kitchen were very dim and the living room / kitchen just needed a refresh / lick of paint but this didn't effect our stay.

The location was perfect
We had heavy rain all night, the roof was leaking right next to the bed we were sleeping in, Simon the owner knew about this and only informed us when we got there, with no alternative available we agreed to stay. We had to empty a bucket thru the night the bathroom was down a very tight, steep and winding wooden cottage stairs, He kindly offered us compensation, we had 2 nights booked he said he would refund us 1 nights stay and we were ok with that however that was on the 14th July and we're still waiting for it and he's now ignoring my messages.
The outside area wasn't tidy the bins hadn't been emptied they were overflowing with the previous guests rubbish, piled high we had nowhere to put ours.

it is a sweet little cottage. the beds were very nice and it had all the amenities. The kitchen was well laid out and everything is modern and beautifully decorated. It is a short little walk to town with all the stores, restaurants and the Tuesday market. We were not there too long but it had a little yard with a table and chairs which would have been nice to sit outside and relax. They left a few nice things for us upon arrival which is very nice.
Nothing bad to say. It has a tight stairwell so anyone staying needs to know the bedrooms are upstairs but I believe it is in the advertisement. we had no problem with them.

My sister and I were traveling in England by train and wanted to stay near the only train station in Cotswolds. The Walnut Cottage exceeded our expectations. It was on a very quiet street, beautifully appointed, and a lovely private garden. Some very nice restaurants nearby as well. We are big hikers and enjoyed the easy hike to Bourton on the Hill, a nearby village which started just a short distance from the cottage. (And great pub there, the Horse and Groom, with beautiful views.)
The hot water was a bit too hot. We had to be careful not to get burned.

Would be nice to have some hooks in the bathroom for towels. Also more hooks and hangers in both bedrooms. Stairs are quite precarious but I understand it’s the nature of the cottage.

The courtyard garden was a bonus and we were impressed with the welcome basket of essentials and fresh milk. The location is great for easy access to local restaurants and a central location to explore the cotswolds.
Blind in bedroom and living room faulty. Although blind attended to promptly had to keep closed for entire stay.
Need to review crockery regularly as only 3 small plates for a 4 person cottage but lots of bowls. Not a problem for our stay as only 2 of us. We would return to cottage.

The cottage was really lovely and clean, it had everything we needed and the beds were comfy, loved the decor too! The location was great and easy to park on the street outside.

beautiful property, stylish, characterful, central location, nice welcome pack.
Style over practicality. There are no wardrobes or coat hangers for hooks on wall, no draws for your clothes, in the 1st floor bedroom there isn’t a mirror. we had to leave our clothes in our bags on the floor. The property has good mood lighting but 2nd floor bedroom and kitchen are really dark you can’t see what your doing. beautiful kitchen, not 1 empty cupboard, shelf or draw for food. property is staged very well but once you try to unpack there’s nowhere to put anything. If they put shelves behind bed2 door and provided hangers it would be an improvement without any impact on the ‘look’ .

Location was excellent, the cottage was stunning and the beds were super comfy. Beautiful open fire and supplied with plenty of logs and kindling. Welcome touches such as a bottle of Processco, milk and basket of goodies were a lovely surprise.
The stairs are not very wide. Not really suitable if you have little ones.

Excellent location for exploring the Cotswolds. Ideally situated a 2 minute walk from the centre of Moreton in Marsh but in a quiet road. The cottage is beautifully furnished throughout.

The cottage was excellently appointed. Clean smart with a great outdoor space. also great location. Aesthetically pleasing to the detriment of practical space
I wish there had been a warning about stairs. Found them difficult to navigate.
This is the first place I’ve ever stayed at where there is no drawers, wardrobe and no hangers in any of the bed rooms.
