Mini aqua park, personal in reception was always helpful.

We had a room just on front of the scene, so we was able to sleep only after midnight. We had no possibility to eat at the hotel as the restaurant was full and they had no possibility to upgrade from just room to the all inclusive.

Kids swimming pool, provided with 7 slides; kids entertainment indoor daily and from the stage on nights; cocktail bar; room and pools cleaning; professional reception; free parking in the nearby (a good one is big and along the Pineda beach strip); bus to Tarragona/Salou center/Cambrils very close; great value for money in June.

Lack of bidet in all rooms; lunch timetable has to be started at noon , due to the large amount of foreigner guests, as well as to avoid 2-hour slot only (1300-1500) crowding ; food not exactly at the Best 4-star Hotel standards (maybe it's just a 3-star for this reason); anyway great stay

Hotel Best Sol D´Or absolutely exceeded our expectations as a family. We were travelling with our 3 year old, and he loved the resort- particularly the slides in the pool! The room was clean and comfortable, and the food options at breakfast and dinner were plentiful.

I didn’t like been refused breakfast at 10.10 an shouted at by very rude man with glass about 55years old because I wanted to pay an there was people behind me an he let them in cause they were all inclusive you shouldn’t make meat of one customer an fish of another very disappointing to frighten a child on his first holiday

The hotel is good for 3 stars and it's price i guess. The staff is good and welcoming. The location is very good - close to the beach and bus station in both directions. I was not expecting much, but wasn't frustrated. The food is good and different varieties, themed dinners, Carlos was amazing chef on breakfasts - thank you for being nice, welcoming and your delicious tortilla and crepes!

I'd suggest having some bathroom facilities as shower cap a cup for toothbrushing in bathrooms. There traditional problems with understaffed restaurant and poor cleaning quality, not sure if it can/willing to be fixed. After room service there are always tons of sand left on the floor, so it's not a case to walk barefoot, only in flip-flops. Restaurant is suffering during the times of heavy load, but it's great that hotel tries to manage the queues and have the informers of the load times everywhere.

the facilities available our fantastic for the children and the entertainment was great. we were presently surprised how much was on offer for breakfast given it was a 3 star.

There was no parking available within the hotel at the time even though the website stated there was. would of been great to have a coffee making facility in the room however this is most likely as it’s a 3 star.

The room was really nice and the housekeepers were kind. Entertainment at night was OK.

The food was disgusting. Had pizzas at the bar downstairs and it was horrid and cheap. The food in the dining area was horrendous. I was served a raw burger. And none of the food had much flavour. The cocktails were watered down and tasted disgusting and the bar staff were extremely slow and didn't seem to care much. The electricity went out 5 times for over 10 minutes each time over 2 days.werent even allowed balls in the pool! Honestly would never stay here again paying over £700 for that is a complete rip off!

water slides for kids was brilliant . clean hotel well maintained relaxing under the tree shade area behind the water slides family friendly hotel. not too crowded easy to get lounger . food good quality. evening entertainment and foam party was brilliant. 2 minute walk to the beach . very nice clean beach plenty of food places on the beach promenade with arcade entertainment and variety of things to do. beach is clean and water is warm. can hire nice umbrella and get vip service at the beach .

If you are looking for a family holiday this is your place. It has been recently renovated so it feels like a treat, the rooms are pristine! And it is cheaper than a 4 stars hotel. The outdoor pool has lots of slides, so it is ideal for the kids. There is a buffet restaurant, animation during the night and day, a small indoor playground for the kids, and it is located at a walking distance to the beach.

The pool can be very busy so I recommend going early if you want to catch a lounger. Same with the restaurant, it can be very busy as well. Although I have to say that we went in August and the hotel was at a full capacity, so perhaps it is different in another dates.

The pool was great the cleaning staff were top notch. The location is second to none. The waiting stagg in restaurant are great.

Was mainly catered towards spainish guests male entertainer had no English. The bar staff 2 were great 2 were awful served spainish first everytime. The all inclusive package was not worth it the food is meh only 4 icecreams included we ordered snacks our first day and told oh pizza isn't included as a snack so was under cooked hot dog or burger or plate of chips that's it. We ate dinner out 5 times in 7 days even those we had already paid hotel.
