Fiona, a proprietária, nos deu dicas excelentes de restaurantes e programas a fazer na cidade.

The perfect place to stay with an easy walk to the centre of Stellenbosch and its great restaurants. The guest house is beautiful, breakfast was delicious, staff are lovely and Fiona is a fabulous host. The free bikes were an added bonus and we enjoyed cycling to a couple of local wineries. We could not have wished for more and we are already planning a return visit.

Our stay at Summerwood was exceptional! The staff went above and beyond to accommodate our needs and provide travel tips (even for future travel outside of Stellenbosch)! The location was perfectly safe, particularly for morning runners, and a nice walk into the main town. Summerwood was one of the highlights of our trip!

Heerlijke bedden mooie locatie en top ontbijt. Viona is een hele vriendelijke toegankelijke gastvrouw! Wij hadden een fietstour met electrische mountainbikes en de man die de tour gaf mocht zijn auto op het pad laten staan, teven wij ook op de dag van vertrek.

We absolutely loved Summerwood Guest House. After a warm welcome, we got a very comfy room and enjoyed all the little amenities Fiona prepared to make us feel home.
Thanks for these fantastic days at your house. This was the best accommodation we had in 4 weeks traveling through South Africa!!!

The choice for breakfast was varied and healthy, freshly cooked with plenty of fresh juice & coffee. All served by delightful staff with a great smile. The hosts were engaging and informative, giving great advice on vineyard visits. A lovely experience on our 1st visit to Stellenbosche.

After staying at summerwood for 2 nights I wish we had stayed longer. It's a 15 minute walk/3 min drive to the center square. We had received a video of how we got to our room hours before we got to the guesthouse. We were so lucky to choose this accommodation out of the long list available. Quiet. Quaint and top quality. The cute rabbits in the garden were a big icing on the cake

Fiona was excellent and checked on me to see if all was good. We were up and down for work so i don't believe we gave this location the time and effort it deserved. So some of my rating is not because i didn't think is was excellent - it was just that we didnt invest the correct amount of time there to give us a true reflection.
I loved the green garden and pool - and Fiona's hospitality will allow me to go back there.

Fabulous guest house with a fantastic breakfast and an extremely warm, welcoming and friendly host. The grounds are lovely with a big pool and four adorable bunnies hopping about. Everything you could need, and they went above and beyond to accommodate dietary restrictions (we had our own gluten free menu!). Will definitely be back.
