Location, buffet and pool were all excellent. Food was outstanding. Excellent bed. The shape of the building creates a windfree and sunny pool area which is most pleasant. Plenty of sunshine on the room terras.

Some technical minor imperfections (details) in the room have been communicated to the front desk with the objective of getting these fixed for the next guests.

Staff at Sandy Beach are fantastic, always helpful and friendly. Food is super delicious (we had half board), I was impressed by the quality of everything they offered for breakfast and dinner. One tip: do not come to this hotel if you're on a diet! The food is irresistable.

For dinner there is a rule of wearing trousers or bermudas that cover the knees. I came with a bermuda covering my knees on the first night, ask two different staff members if it was long enough and both said it was okay. I wore the same outfit on the second night and was told to go back upstairs and change to trousers in a rather impolite and patronizing way by a hostess which make me very uncomfortable. We stayed 4 more night and every night we saw people with shorts above their knees dining without any complains. Couldn't figure out whether I was target or unlucky, but I didn't find that to be OK. Even with that particular encounter with the hostess being a bad experience, the vibe of all the other staff members quite made up for it.

The room is big and clean with comfortable bed and annex for shoes and clothes. The food was plenty enough and diversificate. We don't had any issues with staff.

Beautiful Garden and swimming pool area, super tasty food in breakfasts and dinners. Very calm and silent hotel rooms . Excellent service and personnel. Nice decorations.

The second we walked in and were checking in, we got offered a glass of champagne or water, hasn't happened elsewhere so it is worth mentioning. The pool was absolutely lovely and so was the breakfast with wide variety of choices for foods. There was also both - shower and a bathtub seperatly in our rooms, which was interesting (in a positive way of course)

I liked everything about this hotel. Food had a great variety and was very delicious, rooms were cleaned daily, location was great, near the beach and Yumbo centrum, supermarket is located on another side of street on the way to the beach. There are evenings how's and plenty of sunbeds.

Super location. Really close to the beach. Yumbo centre is around five mins walks as is the maspalomas promenade. Food good quality. We did eat out twice as just got a bit samey. Saw a couple of nights entertainment and was good quality.

Pool too small for amount of guests which led to feeling overcrowded at certain times. sunbed wars for the beds near the pool, however plenty available on the upper terrace. Queue for drinks round pool can be a bit much also during busy periods. Really need places go get water without queuing with all the cocktail drinkers.

The staff are all super friendly and helpful with everything. The food is all very well prepared and very tasty. The rooms on floor 11 were of a good size with separate bathroom and separate storage and were cleaned to a high standard daily. The extra entertainment put on by the hotel was excellent and a special mention for both Angelika and Monika who were brilliant. All the facilities are great and the pool is excellent. The hotel is situated only a few minutes walk from the beach. We recommend to all family and friends.

The only thing not to like is that the sun loungers all had towels placed on them really early..

Fantastic hotel exceptional staff great location. Only negative we only went for a week.

Buffet was superb as always and cleanliness was exceptional. The staff were very friendly and went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. Fatima in the restaurant and Aruma at reception were amazing. We always feel at home at the Sandy Beach.

Beds are a little uncomfortable and room decor is dated. The rooms haven't changed in the many years since we have been holidaying there.

food is amazing and the drinks are known brands not your white label rubish

All inclusive ends at 11:00pm which in my opinion is a bit early, 11:30pm in summer is more appropriate and 11pm in winter

The hotel was really good all the food/drinks and staff really good,the location was just right for me just walking distance to the shopping centres and the beach was walking distance as well.

The bed was a we bit firm it would be good for something like a mattress topper to make it reall good.

We have stayed at this hotel several times. The location is good; food is excellent; staff are friendly and the hotel and grounds are always kept clean

air-conditioning desperately needs updating as it is extremely noisy to the point you cannot sleep whilst it’s on

Very good hotel, nice pool area. All inclusive easy and good food/drink.

Very friendly and helpful staff who treated our young son very kindly. Pool is good, lots of beds, good options for kids. Two good gyms, good games facilities too. Quick walk to the beach and lots of useful shops nearby to stock up on supplies (water, snacks etc). Hotel buffet is good and the outside restaurant has a pleasant atmosphere.

The food is very nice and the lunch menu is really good value for money (you can’t complain about €5 for a big pizza) but the one minor complaint is that there should be more vegetarian options at dinner in the evening. It’s quite red meat and pork heavy.

Only negative is we booked a double room but got 2 single beds pushed together
