A little distant from the central Plaka area, takes approximately 30-40mins by foot but can easily get a taxi or access public transport

The hotel is close to many restaurants, metro station (Megaro) and a walking distance for Athens main touristic attractions. The breakfast was various, good. The staff was kind, willing to help.

1. The hotel is near a very busy street so even in the night there are a lot of traffic- so the noise is very loud and air is not very good to breathe. 2. The room were very noisy-had to change first room (even if I requested one "quiet"- not near street, elevator or AC fan), my first room was near hotel's sewage system of central AC so I felt as sleeping with my head into an engine; 3. So I requested to change it with another quieter, they changed, indeed was more quite BUT....stinking of smoking from cigar- I complain;t they gave me a smoking room but they said they don't have such type of rooms and smoking is banned. In theory maybe is banned but practically, despite the room have balcony, someone smoked so hard inside it the smell couldn't be eliminated, despite I kept AC and door open all time, pleased them to change the bed linen every day and so on. I think, beyond the guest lack of basic value and respect, the hotel's guilty because they should get fine to such guests and display warnings everywhere. Finally I had to sleep last 3 nights in a stinking room, because no other free room and exhausted to change rooms. But the overall experience of staying in their rooms and sleeping was very very bad.

Some of the staff were lovely, but others were a little rude which was hard being a first time traveler

Breakfast was everything you could wish for. I ordered a taxi , it was waiting for me on time. The evening brasserie food was very good, service good, nice environment.

No room kettle for making early morning tea in bed. Didn't want to be bothered with room service at 7:30am.
