Très bel hôtel sur les hauteurs Chambre très originale et spacieuse Superbe terrasse avec coin petit déjeuner très copieux et coin salon très agréable avec vue dégagée sur la ville, les alentours et les vols des montgolfières au lever du soleil... magnifique !

Elysee is just off the beaten track a short walk up a little hill from the hubbub of town central. The road is fairly steep but manageable and while parking is limited, you'll find a safe space for overnight parking. While we didn't stay in an actual cave room, the rooms have thick stone walls so you get the vibe. The rooms are very comfortable, spacious and have enough ambient light from outside. Our bathroom was a nice size with a great big shower and the water was as hot or cold as you liked it. We opted for no daily cleaning, but other guests were pleased with their service. The best part of Elysee is the upper decks, where you enjoy a very, very satisfying breakfast every morning. The pictures are accurate. While the standard (glorious; veggie-friendly; hot and cold) daily spread (8:30am start) remains the same, the egg styles, pastries, cakes, and preserves change it up. Tea & Coffee is available at any time too, with a hot pot of strong tea brewed at 5pm to enjoy with your spectacular sunset. The honesty bar allows you to also enjoy a glass of local wine, fizzy drink, or an ice-cold beer (please take note of your consumption during your stay and bring enough cash for this added service.) Overall I'd wholeheartedly recommend Elysee as a mid-budget hotel for your stay in Cappadocia.

While the two lovely dogs and numerous cats on the property are good company, their midnight musical matinees aren't much fun while you're trying for shuteye. =b If you're looking for the Cave Room experience, be careful with your booking as they have limited availability.

I wish I could give this 11 out of 10! It is quite simply outstanding ! The hotel itself is stunning , the rooms are delightful and the terrace itself must give one of the best views of the ballon’s in Gorome, and there is 24 hour access to hot teas and coffee and a lovely room with a fire But was makes it especially wonderful is the amazing stuff, not only did we get out in a better room then we booked as the hotel was quiet they went out of the way to make sure we had the best time ! They absolutely made you feel welcome I can’t say enough what a wonderful experience it was staying there

The hotel is very clean and cozy and has a magnificant energy. The host of the hotel is amazing, there s a lot of food offered during the breakfast.. Their dog Karamel is a cutie too. But we really have to say a big thank you to our Leyla :) She is so good and polite, she organized our trips and excursions, she can manage everything in a second, she is so smart, speaks so many languages. Location and breakfast were good.

The staff (the girl at the reception) was extremely arrogant and cynical. She was complaining of the people who were coming to check in because they were interrupting her while doing her nails. She was lying about the hotel having private parking l. Finally the hotel cancelled my booking in attempt to avoid the review I am giving. Booking assisted in this matter. So, to sum up, the hotel DOES NOT have private parking and the guest are told to park where they find. Cancelling the reservation (right after we checked out), lying that we did not show up, is ugly and unacceptable!

Amazing room with incredible view. Stunning view in the early morning of the airballon. The hosts are really kind and friendly. They also speak Italian!!! Really appreciated!

Incredible experience of living inside the cave that acts like a natural air conditioner. Luxurious ambience. Terraced house architecture that looks like a Hollywood movie setting. Garden with Grapevine, flowers, hammock. Great choice for the perfect instagram pictures. Any-time Tea for free! Sumptuous breakfast with authentic Turkish food! Shops, Restaurants, ATM machines, Tour package providers, Car / Quad-bike / Scooter rentals in close proximity. The hosts took care of everything required to make the trip a perfectly relaxed holiday without a hassle. They arranged the balloon ride, horse ride and the guided tour of the terrain to match the timing of our stay.

The place is cozy and really close to the center. Breakfast is super good and super rich in choices. It has got a nice terrace with a nice view, also to spot the Air Baloon at sunrise, and a nice garden where to chill out.

The bathroom was really small and it was really complicated to use the sink without spreading water all around. The receptionist, Leyla, was really friendly and she can talk italian, spanish, english and i don't know whatelse. She can help you managing a lot of thing, including booking activities such as Air Ballon Flight, tours, airport transfers and so on BUT if you have time and you want to spend a while wandering around the many tourist offices that you can find in town you'll be able to get the same activities way cheaper (we found out we spent 50 euro more than the one who paied the higher amount on our Air Baloon Tour. Hope Leyla will use them to attend the next language course at the university). For example, after our not-nice-experience with the Air Baloon Tour we met Efe, from the Hometown Travel Agency, who has been really helpful and provided us some special tour, offering us tea and coffee anytime we walked in his office and caring about our feed backs. You can find him easily in the city center and he can also provide the driver to come and pick you up at the hotel. Enjoy Cappadocia, it is a dream land, filled up with beautiful people.

Leyla was an exceptional host, organised our balloon flights quite last minute finding decent rates, and went out of her way in different ways to make sure we had a smooth stay. Cherry on top of the charming building and breathtaking views.

If we could give this place an 11 out of 10 we would! The property was so beautiful and everything was kept so clean. The rooftop terrace and sitting areas were amazing. We were able to see the balloons almost every morning. The breakfast was delicious and there were a lot of options to choose from. They even accommodated us by doing our laundry which was so helpful when travelling for a while. The room was very spacious and they cleaned it every day. I can not recommend this place enough!

Everything was amazing!

Location was close to town but quiet and private, breakfast and lounge area on the roof were perfect! The included breakfast was also great. Owners were kind and helpful.

Cosy room however bathroom a bit tight. Friendly and helpful staff, nice view from the roof top (breakfast area). Breakfast was simple but very good! Coffee and tea available all the time! Thanks for having us!

We chose this hotel to spend part of our honeymoon in Göreme. And some conditions in the hotel pleased us, for example, the view from the breakfast veranda and the lounge area was simply amazing. We also enjoyed the nice courtyard and beautiful unusual design of the room. The room was warm, there are reliable stationary batteries. Towels were changed every day. The products at breakfast were delicious and varied (drinks, vegetables, cheeses, pastries, and so on). Also the shuttle to the airport can be booked through the hotel.

Questionable laundry service. The hotel employee said that the clothes can be left outside of the room and the next morning they will bring it to us clean and dry. The next morning no one brought us our stuff. I noticed it in the yard on the dryer, it hung there all night long, and got wet again, because the night was wet. Some items of clothing lay on the ground and were covered in dust. After lunch, I saw that someone else's clothes were hanging on the dryer, and our clothes (which were still wet) were simply folded into a plastic bag and left near the dryer. So no one brought it us, as promised earlier. As a result, I washed some of the clothes by hand and dried in the room. No one came for payment for the laundry either, and only when we ran to our shuttle (it was already after we returned the room key), the employee reminded us that we had to pay 50 TL. No discount for all of the above, of course. We were not able to pay for accommodation with a card, so we paid in cash in TL. The employee calculated the rate not at the official exchange rate, as was done in other hotels where we had stayed before, but at some other rate. So we paid about 60 lire more than we expected. This is a small amount of money, but it is still an unpleasant experience. Despite the beauty in the room, there is something to replace — the bedspread and green pillowcases have a lot of puffs. During the 4 nights we spent at the hotel, the shampoo and shower gel was never updated. The water in the shower didn't drain well. It was not quiet in our room - we heard any noise from the yard and from other rooms.

Although the breakfast was a bit of a smaller selection than I've seen before, they made eggs to order to come out direct to your table and had proper Tea all day long. It was a beautiful property with views that most walk a few kms to find. Wonderful atmosphere and value.

The breakfast could have more choices outside of breads or cakes.
