Le rapport qualité prix honteux, les sanitaires "privés" minuscules pour le prix et un personnel invisible jamais là quand on en a besoin

Location and staff. Food was excellent.
Did not notice that there was not a lift for luggage. Bathroom was extremely tight.

Amazing location and all the staff were super friendly. I would love to come back again - restaurant is also great with huge portions and lovely food. Room was exactly as described which is great!
My only dislike - possibly my room specifically - the floorboards were every thin, so when the room above me got in at 2am each night, it woke me up every time and I couldn’t sleep till they had stopped moving

Great location! Less than 5 minutes walk from the station. We were able to check-in a bit later (just before 20:00), which was great so we could enjoy our day at Grindelwald First more. Just make sure you let them know if you can't make it before 18:00 so you won't have any problems. Check-in was very easy with friendly staff (Scottish man I believe). We also had a very nice view from our room of a church and the mountains.
There is no elevator, but this is written on their page so please don't arrive there and start complaining that you have to climb stairs.
The bathroom (especially shower) was quite small, which could be a bit hard if you're a big person, but it was alright for us.

Strategic location with good window view. Daily room cleaning.
It doesn’t have lift and very inconvenient and taxing to carry luggage to the room using the stairs. Please don’t bring big luggage and there is no staff to help.

A localização não poderia ser melhor, o trem que leva 10 minutos de Lauterbrunnen já vale a estadia, no trajeto a paisagem é belíssima.
Wegen, onde fica o Hotel, também é muito agradável, pequena e simpática.
Quanto ao Hotel, é simples mas cumpre o que promete, nem mais nem menos.
A vista da varanda é Espetacular!!!
Instalações simples mas muito limpo e organizado.
Não tem elevador, mas reservei sabendo disto, portanto não é um ponto negativo...

La literie n’est pas bonne, la réception ferme très tôt ce qui n’est pas gênant sauf le jour du Check in, il vaut mieux en avoir connaissance avant. Pas de restauration après la saison visiblement

Location and view from the window was great! This place was 5-10min walk from the railway station. Everything was clean and in order. We got discount for the restaurant downstairs that served the best fondue 🫕. Staff was friendly and helpful
We could hear doors being opened and closed from the aisle. Also WC/ shower door needs some oiling, because it screeched too much. Definitely Use earplugs, if external noises bother you

Quiet, comfortable beds, close to center and train station. Great views. Excellent Cowboy Rosti in the restaurant downstairs, plus local beers.

The location is great. Wengen is a lovely car-free Alpine village. The hotel is located at the end of the street in town, nicely situated.
Food in the restaurant was pretty good. Kids loved the ribs.
Room was small but pleasant, had lovely views of the mountains beyond.
Note: The site says check-in is until 18:00. What it doesn't say is they will fine you 50 EUR if, for example, you hit a massive wreck on the Autobahn and arrive at 19:40. No advance notice, just a fine. When I asked why they wouldn't alert us to this ahead of time, they said their internet had been down. So we pay for their service outage. Booking.com was completely unhelpful with this as well.

We looked for cheap accommodation for a few nights. It was cheap compared to the surrounding alternatives.
The staff was very friendly.
We got the “basic room”, which was two bunk beds and shared bathroom. It was fine, but at that price I was expecting more. The areas is extremely expensive with everything - food and accommodation.

1.No explicit mention of shared bathroom while booking
2. No mention that shared rooms are available only in 4th Floor and no lift to 4th floor
3. Rooms are not maintained well , closets to keep clothes were smelling bad
4. Beds and blankets had hidden dust in them which caused allergy
5. No cutlery at room
6. No hot water and soap
We had to cancel the last day of the stay as it was very uncomfortable

This is a super option for a good value stay in Wengen. We booked last minute so got a triple with shared bathroom, but could push the beds together and the shared bathroom was super clean and never busy. The hotel is charming, friendly, good ski room, good night-entrance key solution, yummy Swiss restaurant very fast service with good value. Right on the Main Street so an easy walk to the gondola or the station. We’ll definitely come back!
