Big rooms, everything clean, very nice and helpful staff, breakfastvwas very tasty. The Sauna wooden house is also very nice, it has a couple of sunbends inside and a couple outside. The Sauna itself is fitting about 6 people at once, there are 4 sunbeds inside and 4 outside. There is also a Spa house where you can get massages and treatments. We haven't tried any though. There is also a restaurant at the hotel which is serving a la carte or a daily menu in the evening. There is enough parking in front of the hotel. The rooms have a nice green view.

The house itself is rather old, but it has the Black-Forest Mountain-Lodge charm and the rooms and restaurant are renovated. The walls are rather thin, so you can here others talking on the hall or the TV in the neighbouring room. In the region and at the hotel restaurant traditional German food is served. As this is rather a heavy kind of food, for those that are more sensitive, there isn't much choice in the area. We couldn't find any open restaurant in the town where the hotel is located. But we found some other hotels with restaurants in ca. 10-15min driving distance.

We had SUCH a relaxing time and thought the standard of the hotel (food, beds, room, customer service) was absolutely excellent.

Very friendly staff

Nice hotel, spacious clean room and very warm and friendly staff. A country side hotel in a small village in an area fit for hiking and biking. Staff is very friendly. Our room was spacious and clean. Great bed. Bathroom clean, fine shower. The only thing missing was a water cooker to make some coffee, or tea. We missed that especially as breakfast is served from 8.00 o’clock. An early cup of coffee would have been nice. We enjoyed dinner; for the meat they use local produce as much as possible. Breakfast was good, the usual selection with an optional cooked, or fried egg. All in all, we had a pleasant stay and I can absolutely recommend this hotel.
