Parking is somewhat limited but the staff is always careful on how cars are arranged based on guests departing times so they manage this very well

very friendly personal there. very comfortable for especialy bikers. silence place and near to centre. Owner speaks perfect russian very good restaurants near to Hotel cold drinks offered by the hotel

Some items were missing or not working: no bedside tables, bedside light didn't work, no refrigerator, no kettle, only two glasses. No single use shampoo

Good location, good sized room, excellent breakfast at good value and in a quiet area. It was too cool early May to utilise the pool or sun myself in the yard, but I can imagine in summer these would be an added bonus staying here.

We stayed for two days at the Edem Hotel in Chisinau. It is located in a quarter that, although it is situated behind the Academy of Sciences, is bypassed by any urban development. The road to the location takes you through small houses, on streets without sidewalks and lacking lighting, among former abandoned industrial buildings and improvised fences. At night, it seems dangerous to venture out for a walk, not to mention the rainy season. I was a guest here in March when the night time temperature dropped to 1 degree Celsius and the rooms were unheated. Only an air conditioner could try to heat up the room. The bathrooms are not even equipped with heating fixtures. The furniture consisted of pieces coming from different sets of armchairs and tables. But the most unpleasant was the attitude of the staff and the steep prices, clearly adapted for the "naive tourists". I do not recommend such an experience that reduces the impression of tourists in a beautiful city like Chisinau.
