Sehr hellhörig. Wände sind wohl aus pappe. Nachtruhe ab 22 Uhr wurde aber eingehalten.

La ubicación, muy cerca de la estación si estás haciendo el camino es perfecto.

El frío de la habitación, estaba a 19 grados y aunque nos dijeron que era la temperatura que habia que tener, allí hacia mucho frío y más después del chaparrón que había caído, estaba poco agradable.

Nothing - the poorest accommodation I have experienced on my Camino

I don’t think I’ve ever left a bad review on Booking and I do this with future travellers in mind. My experience was poor but might relate to the room in particular - room 41. We booked a double room with a private bathroom, and received a double room with a toilet, sink and shower in the room. I consider that the room was not as advertised and unsanitary - the advertised photos on Booking show an ensuite in a separate room with a door between the bathroom and bedroom. In addition, the room smelled strongly of sewage and the smell woke me up during the night. I emailed the host via Booking at 21:30 requesting to be moved to another room and 24 hours later have not received a reply. I am a pilgrim walking the Camino, and embrace modest accommodation, but this accommodation was sub-standard. The room was superficially clean - the shower was actually quite dirty, and the bathroom smelled of sewage throughout. The vending machine on the 5th floor seemed convenient for a coffee capsule for breakfast but swallowed my cash and did not provide any much needed caffeine. If you can find alternative accommodation in Guernica, avoid Akelarre Ostatua. Have requested a refund from Booking.
