We arrived in the middle of a thunderstorm, wet and exhausted. Our hosts were so welcoming and went out of their way to look after us- washing our clothes and preparing dinner even though it was late. The food was absolutely delicious - both the dinner and breakfast. When we left we felt refreshed and rejuvenated.

What an incredible stay! We were in Spain for a wedding, so there was a group of us staying at La Rectoria. We could not have been looked after any better than we were. A fantastic and quite beautiful location nestled in the countryside - morning spent catching up over eggs (and delicious home made sponge), bathing in the sun by the pool, and sundowners in the courtyard. Cannot thank our hosts enough, we were so well looked after!

It was hot! hot! hot! My only (and very minor dislike) was the lack of aircon. Though to be absolutely fair, we were in the middle of a heatwave and our hosts did all they possibly could to keep things breezy - fans everywhere!

We loved this property and wish we stayed two nights. Goretti and Roy are wonderful hosts and have done an amazing job of restoring this 11th century building with modern amenities but retaining its original charm. A true labor of love. Roy is a fabulous chef so don’t event think about not getting dinner. We also loved the surrounding area and it’s exceptional day biking trips. The whole valley is set up really well for beautiful relatively flat biking. This was our favorite property we stayed at our three week trip to Spain and the least expensive.

They serve good dinner. Staff is very kind

Room was cold all the time, way under comfort temperature all the time. The only time you felt comfortable in that room was under the blankets. Heating was on only a small period of time at dinners. The room had poor acoustics isolation. It was on the main floor, near the foyer and all noises were heard. They begin serving breakfast at 8:30 and you could hear very clearly all the preparations. Also you could hear very clearly the sorrounding bathrooms when you were in the room the bed was not very comfortable. we have spent nights in 4* hotels paying half the price per day and getting better sleep and comfort internet connection was also very poor: slow and not stable. you can barely get a streaming service work, it stops constantly because it does not get enough buffer. I would reconsider choosing this establishment as a remote working location. in my opinion this hotel is way overpriced. location is not everything.

We booked for two nights including breakfast and exceptionally also dinner. Well, it was worth it! Warm welcome by the fire, good room, helpfull Goretti, and Roy prepares delicious food. Both Goretti and Roy speak perfect English.

As Belgians, dinner at 20h30 is rather late. Coming from Scotland, our hosts understand and offered dinner a little earlier.

Goretti and Roy are just lovely. She makes sure you have everything you need and that your stay is pleasant and comfortable. They even provide with towels for the swimming pool and the breakfast is excellent. It's a calm place to have a break from the busy city and reconnect with the nature in a real catalan environment. Loved it!

The location of this wonderful hotel is fantastic, a hidden gem in the middle of nature. The owners are super nice people who make you feel at home immediately. The dinner served in the evening is excellent.
