Great location in the forest hill. The medieval building still keeps its authenticity, all pipes and wires added in the recent years are invisible! Breakfasts were always fresh and tasty, tap water was beautiful!
Having a wi-fi signal in a room is necessary, as mobile coverage is not great and it is not always convenient to take calls in the common space.

The hotel and location are exceptional in character and quality. The food is outstanding.
Directions to the property were a problem but that was Google Maps fault! Eirene was helpful in getting us back on track.

Scenic, beautiful rooms and outdoor spaces with multiple private seating areas, large lap pool, fruit trees and flowers everywhere. The hosts went above and beyond, and the homemade breakfasts and dinners were delicious and thoughtfully prepared. Would recommend for anyone.

we loved the location, the pool, delicious breakfasts, excellent dinners, found it such a relaxing place to stay
only a little thing: it would be nice to have been able to get some drinks before dinner it didn’t seem set up for this.

This was a fantastic stay, and we would absolutely come back. The setting and scenery were better than we could have imagined. Rolling hills, a view of Girona in the far distance, hiking nearby, surrounded by greenery and flowers. The family that owns and runs the property were so sweet and accommodating. Our daughter played with their son most days and had the best time running around, chasing each other, even feeding the chickens. The building itself is absolutely stunning, very relaxing. You feel as though you are transported to another place and time (from a city). I can't finish without mentioning the food...wow. The chef is incredible. We actually decided to eat dinner there every night; everything is incredibly fresh, homemade, and tailored to what you would want. Breakfasts are expansive and again, everything is homemade. Care is put into everything. They even cooked special pastas for my daughter. We really loved our stay. Thank you, Irene and Donatello! Regards to Max, Giulia, and Jazz!
Nothing. We loved our stay so, so much.

An absolutely stunning place to stay, in a converted 17th century farmstead. The staff and owners, Max and Eirene are wonderful hosts and the food and breakfast are exceptional. Beautifully peaceful and surrounded by nature and fantastic views.
Only drawback was the lack of Wi-Fi in the rooms and poor phone signal!

Breakfast was amazing. Home made croissants every day to an exceptional standard, so many home made treats including jams, salami, yoghurt, cakes, cereals, fruit send a hot dish too. Fresh squeezed orange juice......what a treat😊
A couch/sitting chair in our room. Drinks by the pool?

Well, everything was just perfect. From the start till the end, and further. Pool had a good temperature (beginning of June). Breakfast was superb, you can't starve for sure. We experienced also dinner and it was lovely (served with comments about each course), prepared from local ingredients. Room, bathroom, all spaces in the building are clean. We felt warm from every detail. I suspect everything was built/restored as per owners wishes as they seem to created their dream. And they try to pass "it" to their guests.

Probably the best building we have ever had a opportunity to stay in!
A 1600’s premier Massia built to the highest standard with no money spared in its construction

Excellent place if you want to get away from the city. Amazing location for outdoors activities (hiking / cycling) - especially for those who like hills! Great staff who clearly care about what they do.
Nothing in particular really. Perhaps lunch service could be hand (on request, just like dinner), however, I understand it can be complicated to organise
